The tinted lip balms feel juvenile to me. They moisturize a bit but the tint is very plastic and what you would see on 10-year-old playing make up. I gave the balm to my 9-year-old daughter and she had fun with it. At least it was cheap. If you are looking for a lipstick with a sheer wash of color though, this is not it. I have this in the cherry flavor. I love the taste, texture, flavor, color and moisturizing qualities, but after about 30 minutes with this on my lips I get a ring around my mouth! :( Like a bad lip liner. Not good. This is a lot of pigment! It feels good going on the lips, but the shine and color doesn't last. The color is bright and more or less stains the lips, which is good, b/c it tones it down. True to its name, this is great to give your lips color. The color that looks red in the tube glides onto a cherry red/pink that's very loud on the lips. I absolutely love this lip balm. I know its lip balm and should kind of help with chapped lips, but it doesn't so that entirely. If I put on the lip balm when my lips are already chapped, then my lips are going to stay chapped. But if I continuously put on the balm before my lips are chapped, they wont get chapped at all. I use this product daily. I love the yummy cherry flavor and the smell isn't very strong. I have the cherry tint and adore it. I'm fair and it is the prettiest pink hue on my lips. Makes me think of how when I was a kid I'd carefully sip kool-aid for that berry lip (minus the berry 'stache). It tastes alright, smelly yummy. I apply it constantly.
