EcoTools Bamboo Powder Brush Reviews

Brush
I have found that the eco tools brand offers many pleasant surprises for those of us looking for a quality makeup brush at an affordable price point. I have the whole collection, and have been happily using them to apply my makeup for quite some time. This brush does a good job of picking up the powder that I apply, and the application of powder make up is even, and not streaky at all. I also like that it holds the powder product well; it does not just fall off of the hairs of the brush. The hairs of the brush are fairly soft-- I do think that there is a noticeable difference between these brushes and those you find at a higher price point-- while the hairs are not feathery soft, they are non irritating and stay in the brush. I wash my brushes frequently, and find that they hold up to that sort of treatment well. They hold shape well, even after they are thoroughly washed and dried, and they travel well. I also like the bamboo style look. It is very natural looking and appealing. For the girl who is looking for a quality makeup brush without breaking the bank, I would recommend this brand. However, if you are searching for a end brush for your cosmetic needs, I would say that you should spend a little more and climb that price ladder a little. The reduction in quality is noticeable to me and I think it would be for anyone who is serious at all about makeup. — 4 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 8 people said helpful

Fabulous!
For only $8, this powder brush has out done all other powder brushes I've used. The bristles are super soft (as always expected from Eco Tools) and it brushes powder on like a dream. With proper brush maintenance this brush will last for a long time! I don't want to go back to anything else now. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 14 people said helpful

ECOTOOLS BAMBOO POWDER BRUSH
I love Ecotools! I have their retractable kabuki brush and the powder brush and I just bought their 6 piece eye brush set, and I can easily say that I am in LOVE! They are affordable and great quality and never EVER shed! And this brush is just fantastic! I used to use it for my Bare Minerals foundation before I got the kabuki brush, and It worked really well. Now I just use it for blush and bronzer, because I don't use powder and it is good for contouring. I am in love and recommend this to anyone, you won't be disappointed! I use this brush every day for applying blush or a touch of bronzer. I have had it for almost a year and it is still as good as when I bought it. I use it for blush because I am naturally a bit red, so I want my blush to be quite subtle (even after I cover the redness with foundation). For me, this brush delivers the perfect look, never makes my makeup look cakey, and cleans well. For the price, you definitely can't go wrong. Pretty soon after I bought the brush the handle fell off. I did try to glue it back on and tighten it on with pliers and it stayed on ok until I had to wash it. Also, The actual chuck of bristles came off after I had been using it for a year or two. The bristles falling off may have had something to do with me constantly tightening the ferule with pliers but it's worth mentioning. So, that aside I really like this brush! It's as soft as those velvety body shop brushes and are really inexpensive! I find that even the best quality brushes tend to shed once you get to the powder brushes but this one never did! (Until it fell apart that is.) Taking off the handle to wash it wasn't a big deal and even though it fell apart eventually I'll probably just buy another because it never shed a hair and is super soft. If you're worried about it falling apart though either go for a smaller brush or you could try to find this blush brush I have from them. It's the stubby one that came in a pack of four I think. I've had it forever (Not to mention I use it pretty aggressively.) and it's still perfect. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 13 people said helpful

FABULOUS.
I talked my mom into buying a set of Ecotools brushes for her loose mineral foundation, because the department store brushes were just too expensive. She absolutely loved how soft it was, yet so inexpensive! I've purchased one for myself as well, and it's one of my favorite brushes. I love the density of the bristles, the soft feel, the fact that they're made without animal hair (which is usually scratchy), and sustainable materials. I highly recommend these brushes to anyone and everyone, especially if you are looking for a good brush set--ecotools makes a few! — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 8 people said helpful

Lovely!
This is a great product. It is just the right size for either powder or blush. The brush is very soft and densely packed with bristles. After washing, I found that it maintained its shape and did not loose bristles. I would definitely recommend buying this product. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

Awesome!
Best brush ever! I love it. I used to have it a long time ago, but I remember how soft it was. The softest brush ever. Not only soft, but it also distributes the makeup so evenly across the skin. Amazing! If you don't have one, you should totally get one right now!!!!! — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Perfection
I love the taklon fibers they use in this brush! Very thick bristles that are densely packed always ensure a perfected dose of product is ready to be placed gently onto your skin. Fabulous bamboo handle is sturdy but not too big for those gals with smaller hands. No shedding or funky smells-- just pure awesome! — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

This is seriously the best makeup brush I have ever owned. I used it for blush, bronzer, illuminater, and powder and it works flawlessly. and it was only $8!!! I have owned many department store brushes that don't even come close to this one. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Luxe for less
This brush is really great! I bought it as part of a kit. The bristles have the most luxe feel. I really cannot believe that this is part of a "drugstore" brand. It rivals some of the best brands out there!! — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful
