A bit old...
This candle does smell like fresh cut roses, but there is something else about it that keeps it from feeling fresh and light. It is almost as if there is a touch of baby powder scent in it. For some reason it smells very mature to me – as in something that I would find in a nursing home. There is a hint of decay in it, like if you left out a vase of roses for too long. Thus, this scent is not one of my favorites. However, I have family members who love this scent and don’t smell the same undertones I do. The candle does burn pretty true to scent though I think it is a bit heavier in the air than in the jar. It certainly does burn very floral as the name would indicate. This candle really smells like fresh cut roses. The aroma is pleasant, not too overbearing. Reminds you of a rose garden. This is one some may like or not like. If you are not into flowery smells, this is not for you. Doesn't smell like rose scented perfumes for older ladies.
