I tend to gravitate towards winter and fall appropriate scents that are spicy or food based. Island spa was really out of my “candle comfort” zone. I really loved the candle when I smelled it in store. The wax smells like the beach mixed with some aromatherapy incents. It smelled light and had a touch of sea air to me. It did smell like a spa, but a spa that was burning too many candles of different scents at one time. It just gave me a headache. It was a real shame as I really wanted to love it, but is just didn’t feel fresh, which is what I was looking for when I purchased the scent. Clean smell
