Great for Straight or Wavy!

I have wavy hair that I straighten sometimes, and I use Potion 9 on my damp hair with either style. For straightening, it provides light hold without feeling sticky or too silicone-y (which I hate!) and since it has vitamins and all that in it, it probably helps make it a little more protected while I am blow-drying and flat ironing. I also use it right out of the shower before scrunching my wav...read morees...for my hair, the light hold is fine, but for girls with thicker/curlier hair, you might need to mix in some mousse or something with stronger hold. I love this product because it works well, and also doesn't cost a ton. You don't even need to use much, so it lasts awhile too!

My favorite

I have fine, thin, curly/wavy, frizzy hair. I literally thought I had the worst hair in the world up until I discovered #9 about 4 years ago. I have used this practically every day since I first bought it. Sometimes I stray (because I am a beauty product junkie!), but every time, I end up going right back to the Sebastian. I apply a tiny pea-size dot to damp hair and allow to air-dry. It smooths m...read morey curls and makes my hair look and feel healthy. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a bit of moisture, a bit of hold and a lot of frizz-control.

super curls

potion 9 is great for curly hair. leaves hair fresh and tamed. not crunchy or greasy. i've been using it faithfully for 10 yrs. on top of being a product, it is a leave in conditioner which has kept my hair healthy. gabrielle boston,ma
