Great for growing long locks

My mother and grandmother used to use this back in the 90's. My mom would smooth it on my waist-length hair when I was a little girl to give it body and shine while letting it air-dry. I'm growing it back out now from a chic bob that was in last summer, and this works perfectly for my fine, slightly wavy hair-. it gives it body, shine and light frizz control. The best part is that it conditions and strengthens my hair as well.

a mixed product

I have to agree with the site reviewer about the oozing-tube problem. I can't stand packaging that doesn't account for messes! I mean, why? As for the product itself, it is helpful for controlling my hair but I wish it left if a little softer feeling. I think it's definitely possible to find a product that's not too product-y, and keeps hair looking nice in part by making it FEEL nice, which this one doesn't quite manage to do.

Amazing timeless product

First off, Sebastian's Potion 9 has a great smell. Its texture is in between a gel and a cream. It's very moisturizing and works well with curly hair. It keeps my hair moisturized, frizz-free, and accentuates my soft curls. It definitely doesn't make your hair "crunchy." I also recommend using this product in wet hair before going swimming to protect it from chlorine damage. If used ever...read moreyday, depending on your hair length, it could last you anywhere from 3-5 months I'd estimate. Definitely worth it!

Great on my dry, wavy/curly/frizzy hair!

This really is like a leave-in conditioner plus stying cream product. I have dry, course, somewhat curly hair that has a tendancy to frizz. Most products out there seem to just dry out my hair, making my hair frizzy and dull. This softens and adds shine and helps my curls stay together. I've read the reviews on here that say to not use much of the product. If you have a lot of hair that is dr...read morey, you can't use too much! I use a small handfull everyday. If it gets crunchy, it's easy to scrunch and loosen up the product. I'm always looking for a miracle product, and I always come back to this. It's the closest thing to a miracle that I've found.

good stuff

i always try new things but this is one favourite that's always in my bathroom. It defines my really curly hair, makes them shine. And sometimes i'm a bit overdoser and this product doesn't make my hair greasy if i OD. It's a good product as for styling and for treatment. I love it! though i hate the package..it's leaking.

Potion 9 is the BEST prroduct!!!!!!!!!!

I love this stuff, it makes my hair unfrizzy, shiny, managable, doesn't weigh it down & make it fall fall a few hours later it's great. The only minor problem with it is the price. However you do get better value by purchasing the larger size because it lasts for at LEAST 9 months, even if you use it everyday.

OMG the best for naturally curly hair

so my hair is naturally curly and naturally frizzy and messy BUt throw some of potion #9 in when still damp and my hair LOOKS like I DID IT instead of looking like I dont own a mirror ;) LOVE THE STUFF

Fabulous fizz eliminator!

I have always had an issue with my frizzy hair. This has ended ALL those issues. I love this stuff. It makes my hair feel so soft and healthy!
