CHI Original Flat Iron, 1 Inch Reviews

Happy with my purchase
So I finally decided to spend the extra money and splurge for a chi. There are down to $60 on Amazon. I am very happy with my purchase. It heats up very quickly and leaves my hair smooth and straight without the frizzies. I had always bought cheap hair straightners before, but now I realize they are worth spending a little extra money. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

I Love My Chi
I got a Chi for Christmas and I absolutely love it! It's worth the splurge. Whenever I straighten my hair, people constantly ask me if I've gotten a hair cut (because the Chi makes my hair look like I had it done in a salon!) When you use this flat iron, make sure you go slowly...it makes ALL the difference. I would definatly recommend this product to a friend. It makes my mom's and my sister's hair superstraight, and they have coarse, unruly locks. It works great on all hair types. The only bummer is that there are no heat settings, just an On/Off button. I don't mind though. The Chi cut the time it takes to straighten my hair in half! It heats up super quickly and you don't have to go over it again and again. (Just for reference I have wavy, fine hair.) — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Lifetime warranty at Trade Secret
I really loved my Chi, but it broke after 13 months. I got a new one at Trade Secret where the lady told me they have a life time warranty as long as you save the receipt and the box. It costs more there than online, but you can't beat a lifetime warranty. — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Good Results but More Damage-y
I love how this straightens my hair. Easy to glide, and leaves my hair soft and shiny. But when I use it I feel that it damages it a little too much, it leaves that burnt hair smell and my ends get frizzy when I don't use it. But overall I love the results everytime I use it. — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Amazing!!!!
wow.. I just purchased this flat iron from an amazon user. I only payed $56. This is the greatest flat iron I ever used!!! I've been straightening my hair since I was 12. I've owned a ton of straighteners and I LOVE this one!! I also bought the silk infusion and thermal spray. They are wonderful!! My hair had split ends and was frizzy and just a plain mess but with this flat iron it is wonderful! — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great flatiron!!
I love this flatiron. My hair is wavy and frizzy, and above my shoulders, so usually when I dry my hair, even after using a round brush, it still poofs out and gets frizzy and thick. All I have to do is run this flat iron through my hair (I run it through pretty fast, in 2 inch sections, but I don't need to be too precise about it), and my hair is flat and shiny for the rest of the day, and the next day, too. It heats up really fast - I'd say about 20 seconds, so I really don't see the point in getting the turbo model. The plates do get very hot - I've burned myself a couple times. It's pretty pricey, but I got a really good deal on Amazon for under $100. Definitely worth the money! — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Amazing
I've had this straightener for several years, and it is the only straightener that works on my my hair. (My hair is long, think and curly.) It heats up really fast and stays hot. The cost seems really steep, but this straightener lives up to its name. — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
