    There are much better products

I have very long, wavy hair. I am always looking for a leave-in conditioner that will let me get away with not having to flat-iron my hair. I used Schwarzkopf's Smooth Operator for a time. This is not much better than that. It leaves my hair pretty frizzy. I discovered Lush's R&B Cream which is good, but I still need the flat iron for $25. I bought this for $12 at Marshall's. Schwarzkopf i...read mores at least much cheaper for the result. I have long ago given up conditioning my hair because I always use a leave-in. (Why pay for something I just rinse out? What is is really doing? I am suspicious of "body conditioners" for the same reason.) However, yesterday, I used Jason Natural Lavender Conditioner and I have a better result for my hair than from using this product. A bottle of that is $10.50, so I will take that over Straight Guard AND Smooth Operator any day. Plus it is 70% organic. Finally, the best I have found are the hair oils. You have to be careful with them, so as not to get greasy hair. But you have to be careful with these products too. Kendi oil left my hair not perfectly strait, but smooth and with body so that I didn't absolutely have to flatten it straight. Gorgeous. Ojon oil was not as good. I have to try my Diamond Oil sample. Check my eventual review of that. These oils are expensive though. $16 plus shipping for not quite 2 oz. But you use very little and I can skip flat ironing. Yay for that. So, I don't recommend this product. I took it back and was glad Marshall's took it. Ross Dress for Less is more of a hassle with returns.

    So-So

I really loved other products by CHI so I thought I would give this a try. I was a little disappointed with this, it didn't get rid of frizziness as well as some of the other, far less expensive heat guards I've used before. I have really fine hair, and even just one pump of this stuff seemed to weigh my hair down.

    I love it.

Idk why everyone on here seem to hate this product. I got it at walmart on sale and I love it. I use it all the time. I put it in my hair after I iron it. And even if I didnt just to get rid of the frizz. It gets rid of the frizz. It makes my hair so soft. It does help keep it straight. If I use the silk infusion, the iron guard, and this my hair will stay straight all day and I live in Florida wh...read moreere it is always raining and we have really bad humidity. It is a pearly color so it gives my hair a great shine as well.

    not good

I found that after putting it on your hair, if you try to use the flat iron your hair smells like its being burned off. It just smells like burning. Yes, and that smell follows you all day long. Sorry Ill be looking elsewhere.

    Be Careful

I usually use this right after I towel dry my hair, right before I blow dry. You have to be very careful because too much can make your hair kinda greasy. A little bit goes a very long way. My hair is halfway down my back and I only use 1 pump. it leaves my hair silky smooth and cut down on frizz on high humidity days. I use this in addition to a heat protectant spray.
