Shadow won't move when you use this primer.
If you have a problem with your shadow creeping around and showing up in places where you don't want it, just try this primer once and you won't be without it. Wow! I like it
This eye primer is very amazing when it comes to making my eye make-up stay all day. I wore this to a theme park on a very hot day and it didn't fade let alone budge or smear. The only thing I don't like about this product is that it is a little dry going on, but its definitely not enough to make me stop using it. I was trying to type this review on my cell and almost had the whole thing completed when I hit something and it vanished - ah well. I got a little tube of this as a combo from the Bare Escentuals outlet store. It came with a sample size of the face primer as well. So I used it up and thought (since I have not found another primer that i like) I would go ahead and spring for the regular size. I actually think this product is mediocre but I did like the small one better - I will address that issue in a minute. The regular size product has a sponge applicator that causes you to use way more product plus i do not like the way it applies it. With the small size I used my finger and it seemed to use less and apply it better. That way the product actually made it onto my eyelid and did not get reabsorbed into the sponge applicator. So try the mini combo - better deal and better applicator. Now for the product itself - it seemed like a nice base for shadow but I have oily lids - more than the rest of my face - so I really have a hard time with keeping shadow and liner in place. This product did not seem to perform better than any other in terms of not smearing, wearing off or just failing to adhere in the first place. I even tried to apply a bit more but this did not seem to make a difference in efficacy. I even applied the Bare Minerals foundation powder first but again this did not seem to help. There was no change in how the product worked depending on my application process. Pretty Alright
I'm still learning my way around primers. I think I didn't care as much for this one, because it was only for eye makeup. The other primers I've tried are whole face primers, which just makes more sense to me. Comparable
Aside from the silky feeling when you apply it, I feel it is comparable to other primers I have used. Creasing isn't usually a problem for me and this kept my shadow in place until I wanted it off. Awesome but hard to get off!
I tried this for the first time today with my their eyeshadows and it stayed crease free all day! I also had used a gel eyeliner (from maybelline) that usually gives me racoon eyes part way through the day and I have to say that prime time stopped that! This stuff is kind of expensive but definitely worth every penny! It is very light and weightless on your eyes! Only con about it..does not come off with soap at water! Absolute 10!
I have to have this product! I first started using the Prime Time for Face about a year or 2 before this product was even launched and love it. I've looked for many things to put on my eyelids that will help hold the shadow and make them not so oily let along get that stupid crease throughout the day. But nothing has worked. Then on the BE website I found this miracle! I mostly buy my BE products on QVC but it wasn't even on QVC until about 1 1/2 years after I started using it. This is the greatest thing alive. I NEVER have had the crease again. It makes all my BE shadows come alive and show their true colors and my eyelids don't look oily ever. Wow!
I have tried so many products and still had my eyeshadow creased up by lunch. This works so good I am amazed. I have tried clinique, MAC, origins, and many others. This is the first one to last all day and not come off until I remove it. My only complaint is the applicator. I end up just putting some on my finger and applying it that way. Also, a little goes a long way, too much and your lids will feel dry. But this stuff is fantastic.
