Almay Truly Lasting Color Pressed Powder Reviews

best pressed powder I've used
I'm so in love with this powder. Doesn't go on heavy and it lasts a long time. It made even the oily parts of my face matte. It's my "desert island" powder. — 4 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

TLC
No thank you, not a fan of this one. I am really not impressed with it at all, dissapointed, I like Almay liquid foundation better. When I applied this powder it looked like I am wearing A Lot of makeup on my face, and it does not blend in with my skin at all, it was a complete waste of money. — 6 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Natural but covers well
Doesn't look heavy or cakey, lasts all day, and covers well! — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Heavy coverage - DO NOT use powder puff that it comes with for application!
I like the ingredients in this and I always love that Almay products are gentle on skin. This powder provides fantastic coverage and really mattes my oily forehead and nose without over drying other areas. I apply this with a brush, because I found that it was extremely cakey when applied with the powder puff that came with it - especially on my cheeks. Great for long lasting, full coverage. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Great value and truly a great product...
I am 55 and probably used almost every product that's available (I'm a make-up junkie!) and I absolutely love this product. I use with Revision Moisturizer Intellishade as a foundation and then Medium (300) TLC. Out with a friend the other day (39 years of age), and ran into a friend of hers, the other lady actually called me 'Peaches' because of my skin. Even though I laughed, I still loved the compliment. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Almay, truly sucky sponge
Don't use the little pathetic sponge/puff they give you, it WILL cake up and it will not apply like a dream. I think this powder is ok. Its the first pressed powder that I've bought in a long time so I really cant say how well it compares to other powders. It does CAN look cakey so use a light hand and kabuki/foundation brush. I bought the lightest color which is 100/Light. I'm Asian but a pretty pale one. Even so I feel like this makes my skin look a tad bit too orangey and pink. Stay away if you're really pale. Theres, Light, Medium/Light, and Medium. So if you're really pale or really dark, stay away, I dont know why Almay doesnt try to expand their foundation colors a bit more. Also, I feel like my lines/wrinkles are definitely accentuated by this powder. just a little bit, its as bad with liquid foundations so I can deal. It offers medium coverage, sort of sheer but if you use a heavier hand you'll get more coverage but it *may* be cakey, I'm not sure. It cost me 13, so for a drugstore powder I expected a little more bang for my bucks. In the end this isnt the perfect powder compact, its not my HG. So disappointing, but at least I dont think it will break me out. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
