    Broke Me Out

I needed new foundation and heard a lot of good reviews about this so I bought it. At first I really liked it. It matched my skintone well, the texture was smooth, it had good coverage, and a low price. I used it for about three days and then it started breaking me out. If you don't have trouble skin, it might work better for you but my skin just reacted badly to it. — 4 years, 7 months ago

    GREAT FOUNDATION!

Most of Max Factors foundations are thick and clog your pores horribly but this is excellent. It feels light, covers well and lasts and also has good tones to match any skin type. — 4 years, 8 months ago

luv it luv it luv it!

First time I've found a foundation that actually matched my skin shade without a hint of orange. Feels good, not too thick or watery. Love how you can pump it out and don't have to pour it. Love this so much! Found it at Fred Myers for $2.99!!!! Clearance sales are the best! — 4 years, 8 months ago

    What a difference!

I have written just one unsolicited review of a product until now. In my makeup drawer I have numerous virtually new bottles promising age defying, radiance, smoothing, truly lasting 15-hr nourishment and not a one have worked for me. Color turns white, or orange or settles itself directly into my deepest lines. For this 60+ yoa female, youthful and active despite the wrinkles, Max Factor Color G...read moreenius Foundation with minerals (I bought Natural #1.) is the answer. Funny, I put the container back on the shelf and then returned to the aisle after thinking oh well, maybe this time. For 3 wks I've worn this at different times of the day including night shift, and it always always looks natural and has never never made my lines look worse. Put it on light or heavy your choice. And in my southern climate, it doesn't feel like a mask. Not very expensive compared to the heavier advertised brands. I say if you are willing to try one more store brand, try this one one. — 5 years ago

    In My Opinion-THE BEST!

okay it seems every foundation i fall in luv with, the luv ends pretty soon after it starts. it turns out to be the wrong shade (my skin is freakn impossible to match!) or it oxidizes orange as tha day goes on or is a great shade BUT tha formula sucks butt when dealing with my oily sometyms sensitive skin. I feel like ive tried everything: bare escentuals, revlon, loreal, almay, rimmel, covergirl,...read more maybelline, mac, clinique, neutrogena, other max factor, lorac, an im sure many others and they all were either too pink or too orange (i hav yellow undertones), too greasy for my skin, too powdery so i lookd fuzzy, or soo drying and matte u cud REALLY tell i was wearing foundation. im really laid back with my makeup, not real finicky bt my foundation is something i wana get rite. i want it to look natural and like my SKIN is perfected not like my makeup is perfect. and i want that perfectd look to last all day. is this reallyyy too much to ask??? possibly but what can i say ((shrugs)). well anyways my point is i usually kno whether or not it will work with a foundation after 2-3 days. ive had this a week and am still head over heels for it!!! it is soooo natural looking but it does cover wat i want it to! without being noticeabl at all. it gives my skin a natural luminous look, now usually luminous for my skin=oily grease pit, not so with this. my skin is a cross between matte and dewy with this an i quite like it. my skin looks smooth, soft, oil-free, luminous and actually flawless. my mom came home tha other day and was staring at me and askd "what did you do differntly with ur skincare?? ur skin looks reallyyyyyy good. what did you do??" after telling her it must be tha new foundation she was in awe "no way! i thought it was just ur skin" and considering shes tha kind of person to say if she doesnt like something it was nice knowing she genuinely couldnt tell. and no breaking out. i'll update if something changes which i pray it doesnt. i may jus hav found my HG foundation.... ....by tha way i apply mine with my coastal scents stippling brush for an airbrushed look. and i checkd in natural daylight AND outside shade an tha shade stayed perfect! my shade rite now is Ivory 5. i originally got Natural 1 but it was a bit too dark so ima save it for this summer. but Ivory 5 is rite on. for reference im an NC20-25. hope this helped :) — 5 years, 3 months ago
