Lovely

I have the shade "Galaxy" which is kind of a golden tan color. I didn't want to use a crazy shadow, but rather something that would add sheen and slight color to my lids and this is it. It goes on smoothly and it does last. It's not a glittery shimmer, very refined which is great because I HATE glitter all over my face. It's a few bucks cheaper than UD shadow so that's also nice.

Tried one of their palettes....not satisfied!

I recently had the opportunity to test out the Studio Gear Cosmetics Holiday Smokey Eye Palette and wanted to quickly share my thoughts with you all! This palette retails for $40 but it's currently on sale for $25; it comes with 3 eye-shadows and a blush, all in a small compact which is perfect for on the go. With pure color, pigment-rich formulations, you’ll be sure to smolder all night!" The quality of the shadows are OK, they didn't WOW me but they're not bad either. I did have issues with the white shadow being way too powdery and flaky, probably because it is very glittery and a bit hard to work with. The other 3 shadows are also frosty but applied beautifully and are pretty soft and smooth which made the application process fairly quick and easy. My favorite part of the palette is the blush, it is such a pigmented coral color, perfect for any skin color. It applies very smoothly and it blends very easily as well, and since it is very pigmented you only need just a tad to achieve a pretty and subtle color to the cheeks. Another favorite part of this palette is that it is pretty compact so you can take it literally anywhere on the go! In terms of lasting power, with eyeshadow and face primer these shadows and blush last a good day's worth with the same intensity as it did in the beginning of the day. Overall I have mixed feelings about this palette, although the blush is amazing and majority of the shadows are pigmented and apply wonderfully the $40 (even $25) price tag is a bit hefty for what the palette comes with. I would have preferred that they included a matte color for the brow bone and also a matte color for blending in the crease.

Great shadow

I love Studio Gear shadow it is very pigmented and last a long time. It goes on beautifully with just enough "powder" to spread evenly .There is no creasing or fading over time and I work 10 hour days. Just a tip I always use a primer under my shadows. The single colors are great because you can use them alone on pair them with another shadow to create your own look.

This is GREAT!

When I went to Ulta looking for a new make-up line, the make up artist that day showed me Studio Gear. I have VERY oily skin, so most products that go on,seldom last all day. She recommended using a eyeshadow primer first. When I tried the shadows they just glide on, so smooth. And they are true to their color. They last all day, its great. I have no time for touch ups. I've been very pleassed with the product.
