    Not My Cup of Tea

I was recently given the chance to try this lotion from Crabtree & Evelyn, this was my first foray into the brand, even though I had heard of it before. The product, when applied to the skin leaves a nice lemon scent that I found to be extremely pleasant, however some people may not care for lemon. If you are one of those people, then this product is not for you. The main purpose of this loti...read moreon is to "revitalize the spirit and body" along with moisturizing said body as well. When I applied this product, it was a light texture that sank into the skin easily, with no oily residue left on my skin. Unfortunately I was dissapointed in the moisturizing ability of this lotion. After the lotion first sank it, it felt wonderful, but my hands were just as dry as before an hour later. For the price of this lotion, normally $19.50 for 250 ml, I was expecting something that left my hands feeling soft longer than a few minutes. I also did not feel "revitalized" like the bottle claims. I will definitely not be repurchasing this product, if I ever finish the bottle I have now.

    Very Very Fragrant

I loved the fact that there were no parabens, mineral oil, synthetic fragrance, colorants, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl or laureth, sulfates in the lotion. Crabtree & Evelyn is a wonderfully luxurious brand, and this fragrant lotion is an excellent addition to your moisturizing routine. It contains coconut oil (which I often use alone) to restore suppleness and smooth your skin. Makes a great stocking stuffer!

    Soothing & Refreshing...Zzzz

There's something about Christmastime that brings out my love for the smell (and taste!) of peppermint. I love peppermint tea, peppermint lattes, peppermint milkshakes (hello, yum!!) and now peppermint lotion. Peppermint oil is so refreshing and has such a clean scent. It's relaxing and is meant to make you feel more focused (slap some on first thing in the morning before work!). I've been using...read more the new Aromatherapy Distillations by Crabtree & Evelyn body lotion before bedtime. Ahhhh....While the scent is a little strong (it's a blend of eucalyptus, lime, peppermint, grapefruit, mandarin and rosemary), it's so soothing (with cucumber and lemongrass extracts) and actually helped me zonk out after a long day pretty quickly. It made my skin feel nice and smooth and, most of all, refreshed. It feels cool at first (it is made of 100% pure essential oils, after all) and then works into the skin to produce a nice soothing feeling. It almost feels like you've just stepped out of the shower. Use after you actually do get out of the shower and let the refreshing extracts go to work!

    Lovely scent, bit pricey

Crabtree & Evelyn body and skin care items have a cult following. Since I had never tried the line, I picked up a bottle of their new "Aromatherapy Distillations Conditioning Body Lotion". This lotion is lovely on the skin! I used it on my arms, hands, and legs. It worked wonders on my dry elbows and knees; even though the lotion is actually very light. The scent is pleasant- clean...read more and herbal. Since it contains lemon and coriander essential oils, it was a refreshing lotion to use after my shower each morning. I know it's a short review, so feel free to ask any questions in the comments. While it's a fab body lotion, I'm not sure I would repurchase due to the price, I feel a bit guilty slathering it daily over my body.

    Love the scent!

It's one of the best lotion I've used on my skin. I love the blended smell of lemon and coriander. It's like a mix of lemon and flowers. Very divine. It's light on the skin and keeps the skin well moisturized. After putting it on, I felt sexy and my skin was so soft. I like the fact that the lotion is not thick and heavy. I've used lotions in the past that was too heavy and I've learned to steer c...read morelear from them because they clog pores. You won't find that with this conditioning lotion. I did feel the suppleness after using it for two days too. It's fantastic! I would highly recommend this conditioning body lotion.

    Perfect for Dry Winter Hands

This lotion is perfect for dry winter hands. The scent is delightful and the oils soothed my dry skin. I also liked that the lotion didn't make my hands feel greasy but smooth. This lotion is perfect to have on your desk at work because the containter is so pretty. It would also be the perfect hostest gift for a holiday party too.

One Too Many Coronas With Lime?

Crabtree & Evelyn's Aromatherapy Distillations Revitalizing - Conditioning Body Lotion, $25.00, rejuvenates your skin while waking up your senses. This lightweight lotion is blended with coconut oil and exotic tiare flower along with lemon and coriander essential oils. These ingredients are formulated to work together to provide restoration and relaxation to your skin. There are several th...read moreings I love about this product. Like all Crabtree & Evelyn products, the packaging is fresh and charming. The small size is perfect for a desk or counter top. Bad stuff like parabens, mineral oil, synthetic fragrance, colorants, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl or laureth, and sulfates are left out. This lotion is silky smooth to the touch, and light on the skin. There is one thing I am not head-over-heels-in-love with. The scent. Smell is one of our strongest senses, often connecting us to past feelings and experiences. And, we are all rather picky in regards to what scents we choose to wear. So, my opinion of the aromatherapy qualities will surely clash with others. Perhaps I drank one too many Coronas with lime during college, but the perfumey, shaving cream and lemoney-lime scent takes me right back to the dance clubs. For me, it is a bit too strong. I’ll let you be the judge of this lotion's scent. You just might like it (and I'll love you anyway). Pick up your own Aromatherapy Distillations Revitalizing - Conditioning Body Lotion by Crabtree & Evelyn if you want a light lotion with a strong lemony-lime presence. If this scent isn’t for you, Crabtree & Evelyn has several other scents and products to choose from. Enjoy!
