Great, especially for a drugstore gel liner!

A decent product at a decent price. Jane's was the first gel/cream eyeliner I'd ever tried and it got me hooked on gel/cream eyeliner! PROS: The brush head is nice, didn't shed bristles. Smooth formula, not grainy. Nice color (Navy) and pigmentation. Decent length of wear. Didn't cause eye irritation. CONS: The brush handle is a little small! Product began drying out sooner than I'd like (slowly began to dry out/get thicker). Product could stand to be a little creamier. Does require you to clean your brush after nearly every application. Although I did toss it in the trash before it completely dried out, I would be willing to try this product again! I've just purchased Stila's smudgepot trio and like them a lot too, but not sure if I like them enough to pay a lot of money for them, since Jane's are so cheap! — 3 years, 1 month ago

Love this eyeliner, but you've gotta get a different brush. I got an regular pointed eyeliner brush, and it's much more precise. The gel lasts most of the day, so if I get home from work and want to go back out, all I have to do is a quick touchup. Other than wearing off just slightly, there's no smudging, no running, and no flaking. The color is nice and opaque, unlike most pencils, and lasts longer than the pencils I've used before. I take off a star because their color selection could be better... but then again, most eyeliners are the same colors over and over. — 9 months, 3 weeks ago

The Perfect Cheap Eyeliner!

This is so much easier to use than liquid liner or even pencil! It's very inexpensive and the product works great. The brush is perfect for making a smooth, even line. The gel liner itself is a nice texture, not too thick to where it looks cakey, but not too thin and watery. It goes on smoothly. I would recommend this to anyone. I did a Marilyn Monroe/pinup look with it. Another great thing is that it stays on all day, doesn't sweat off or smudge. — 2 years ago

I heard a lot of good things about gel eye liners and picked it up since it was inexpensive. I am very impressed with this liner. The it goes on smooth and the color is very rich. Once it sets, it doesn't smudge easily. I wish it were waterproof, but it is nice that it washes off with little effort. — 2 years, 2 months ago

I was looking to try gel liners and this was the cheapest one I could find that still got decent reviews. I got the dark brown (every time I go the black is out of stock!) and I'm very pleased with it. Be sure to wipe off or wash the brush after using though, it gets hard and will poke you! So, I went back and got the navy but it was sadly dried out. I tried to revive it, but I'll probably end up throwing it out. Luckily, it wasn't a huge investment. But the greatest thing I discovered is that you can use these as a shadow! I messed up my upper line and tried to wipe it away with my finger one day and instead, it smudged in the best of ways! You can get a beautiful smoky eye if you apply as a liner, smudge with your finger, then apply more as a liner for definition. Hope I helped! — 2 years, 4 months ago

I bought this gel eyeliner on a whim, and I'm in love with it! It was less than $5, easy to use,and gives a very soft, yet long-lasting look. The shade I use is Wine, which is great for my dark hazel eyes, but I'm buying one for my blue-eyed girlfriend because this shade will flatter any eye color. Way to go, Jane! — 2 years, 9 months ago
