Rich, Moisturizing...And Smelly
I am a body-lotion addict and apply it immediately after I step out of the shower, while my skin is still damp. This lotion is thick, creamy and wonderful. My skin can be ashy and itchy but Palmer's makes it feel soft, moisturized and so much more comfortable. When using this, be sure to spend some time just rubbing it in and letting it absorb before dressing ~ I usually just dry my hair and let my skin absorb it in the meantime. Unfortunately, this stuff is very strongly scented with a chocolate-y fragrance. I love the results, but am always dismayed that I'll head out smelling like a candy bar. And yes, if you use this and get dressed immediately, your clothes WILL smell chocolate-y, too. :( I believe they make an unfragranced version, will definitely try it in the future. Inexpensive and effective!
I love the scent of this lotion! It is soooo yummy. It is pretty strong, so if you aren't a fan of the sweet, chocolate scent you may want to skip this because your skin will smell like it. This is great for anyone with dry skin. It is rich and creamy, long-lasting and healing. It is a bit heavy for normal skin so I tend not to use it in the summer except if I have a sunburn. purchased this last year; I actually purchased the one that is a stick. I loved it so much that I decided to buy the cream. I'm not much into creams really, but this one is so AMAZING!!! I put it all over my body and makes skin feel very smooth and nice. Blemishes were gone as well as scars. And on me, it also prevented future breakouts. I don't mind the stretch marks, and yes, it says those will fade also. Like someone else reviewed, I haven't seen that part yet, but again I don't mind the stretch marks. I'm really concerned about my blemishes and the scars those leave on my skin. Within just some days on some, on some weeks on older ones, the scars faded. The product has a nice sweet smell, but I don't want to smell like candy either. I usually use it at bedtime after I exfoliate, and then, in the morning, skin looks amazing!! I totally love it!! Here's a hint: You can buy this at Walgreens for less, of course, no shipping, and even in a bigger bottle. Mine is 17oz, it costs less than this one, and it lasts for months and I use it all over my body!!! I have used other products, prescribed and over the counter, and none of those gave results that were even near to Palmers. I have noticed that a cheap and GENTLE product like this goes a long way compared to other brands, other products, and even medications. Usually medications are very harsh on the skin and even produce breakouts. I have a very sensitive skin, and this cream is absolutely amazing! Love it!! 5 stars!!! Cocoa Butter

FAVORITE by far! Inexpensive!!
I love this body lotion! For starters, it smells nice! This body lotion is very reasonably priced also! It is a thick and creamy lotion that moisturizers very well. I use this product everyday and only have to apply it once a day (after my shower). My skin is more soft, smooth, healthy, and my skin tone looks more even after a few weeks of use. This product would really benefit someone who suffers from dry/itchy skin in my opinion! Great to have for cold winter months as well! I am a natural redhead with pale skin that is sensitive to some lotions/creams, but this body lotion does not make my skin break out anywhere and it does not irritate my legs after I shave. If you have not given Palmer's brand a try, I highly suggest you try them out! The bottle is lightweight, easy to store, and the pump is easy to use (if you have the pump bottle). It's so nice. I love the smell of cocoa butter. It's sweet but not too sweet. it's easily absorbed into my dry skin and lovely for my elbows and knees which are always cracking. My All-time FAVE lotion!
I've probably used this for a decade or longer. I try other lotions, but keep coming back to this one. I find it to be the perfect texture, rich and creamy without being to thick, and definitely not too watery. It smooths over my body and absorbs well into the skin, though it does take a few minutes, but not longer. The scent is heavenly unless you don't want people telling you that you smell like a chocolate bar (then I would go with the unscented.)
