Didn't do anything, very messy.

It literally only ripped out half a dozen hairs, and it was really sticky and hard to clean up (even with the included clean-up wipes). Definitely won't be doing that again! — 2 weeks ago

Good for first time waxers

Tried out these strips on myself and my sister, getting hair off the legs and arms, and our hair was in various lengths. The strips took away 95% of the hair, and I managed to get up to 4 uses from each strip. Our skin was a little red and somewhat irritated, but it went away in an hour. The Perfect Finish wipes that come in the box helps with the irritation and removing any excess wax, and it was pretty saturated with oil which I got many uses from it to wipe over large areas of skin. I suggest if you plan to use the strips more than once, be sure to warm up the strip by rubbing your hand over it once you placed it on your skin. That way, you'll be able to catch more hairs when pulling the strip off and get more uses out of it. Since the box comes with 40 strips and was able to get more than one use out of each strip, one box will last you a long time. Even though it doesn't catch all the hairs, I have no issues either plucking or shaving the excess hairs but this is great for first-time waxers, like me. I liked that it is not messy at all, even with a little leftover wax on the skin. It does take getting used to, since my skin got a little irritated, but the whole experience felt like pulling off a large bandaid. I would recommend this product to first-time waxers. The pamplet enclosed was extremely useful and gave good tips to get a good waxing done. — 3 weeks ago

I was given the opportunity to try these as well as review them. The last time I tried to wax myself was many years ago and it was not a pleasant experience. I ripped skin off as well as the hair, but that was over twenty years ago, and home waxing has truly come a long way I am pleased to say. I had just epilated the day before I received these, so I had to wait to use them until the hair was actually long enough to be removed. Epilation hurts, and I thought that it was less dangerous than wax in my hands. I prepped my legs by washing as well as exfoliating. Epilation sometimes leaves me with a few ingrown hairs, so I wanted to make this an effective test. I put the strips in the box out on my deck railing in the sun to make sure the wax would be soft enough to grab all the hair it possibly could. They were extremely easy to use, placement was simple and I was able to get 3 to 4 uses out of each strip. I did cheat a bit. I couldn't rip the strips off of myself fast enough to lessen the pain, so I had my husband rip them off for me. He did it much faster that I was able, and it was less painful than the epilator. I would use these again, the kit was great and the Perfect Image Wipes were great. This is a great kit and I have to say that I am no longer afraid of wax now. It removed the hair, the irritation didn't last long, and I am so happy with the results. I have some dense areas of hair and the wax strips worked just as well on the thicker areas as well as the finer hair. I believe that the strips removed 95% of the hair on the areas I used them on. I did it before I went to bed and the next morning, my legs weren't irritated and they felt really smooth. I am curious to see how long the results last. I would love to free up some time, and if these work, I shall have an extra hour or two to do the things I want rather than removing my body hair. The first time i tried to use these, they didn't pick up a single hair. My skin must've been super oily or something? I tried it on my legs, arms and underarms -nada. So i tried it again the next day after a shower and it worked better. They still did nothing for my underarms but worked on my legs decently. Didn't get everything, but each piece could be used twice so that was a bonus. The wipes that come with these are horrible. They don't get the wax off and leave your skin oily and gross; i had to take a second shower. My skin was red for about a day then looked better. There are better waxing products out there but these could do in a pinch. — 2 weeks, 3 days ago

Decent for quick work

If you want great results, you need to take the time to struggle with a spatula and warm wax. For "good enough" results, these are fine. I've only used these on the bikini line (apparently another kind is formulated for that, of which I was unaware). I would cut them into four pieces before warming, peeling apart, and applying. I was able to reuse each strip about twice, which is nice. Skin was a little irritated immediately after but fades within hours. They don't get every last hair, but for the price these really aren't too bad. I might keep them around for quick wax jobs, in those rare, no-time-pool-party-happening-tomorrow emergency situations that I assume happen sometimes. — 1 year, 3 months ago

Good for fine hair or light waxing

These wax strips are convenient in design and the fact that they are ready to use. However, I found tha they did not work well on coarser hair or remove all hair for thorough waxing. I still had to use tweezers for a clean finish. On fine hair or touch ups these strips would probably work well. Everyone has different hair texture, growth rate, etc. and I found that the hair grew back faster than the growth time the product info said. This isn't necessarily lack of performance in the product. As I stated previously, everyone's hair grows at different rates. My skin was a little red after use and I developed a few red bumps that were gone by next day. I would advise using the strips 24 hrs in advance of any beach outing, pool party or event so redness has time to go away. A soothing lotion is also a good idea. The strips had a very nice smell and came away cleanly without a lot of excess residue left behind. The residue can be cleaned up easily with baby oil. The strips were easy to use and the instructions were helpful and detailed. When used correctly the strips do a decent job when you're short on time or need a last minute touch up. The face ones work great if u do it rite they r prfct does hurt a bit but u can put an ice cube or some cream (even rescue ranger that u can,buy at most russian pharmacies) if u r scared to do it ask some one for help md they have to pull off the wax close to the skin and real quick (i tried doing it slowly, but didn't work just left wax on) The body ones r prtty good 2 im going to try cutting them like some of u recommended :) because the full sized ones are kinda hard to rip off cause im always a bit,scared to do it It hurts a bit its not that bad it leaves a tiny sting for me If u use it on the bikini area u can use something like bikini zone to soothe the skin and prevent ingrown hairs There are very few wipes :( so u have to save them and wash real good after to make sure all wax is removed There r instructions on how to use it nd for what areas inside the box Each strip is actually two since u separate it u should buy the value pack of 40 strips for the body (ive only seen the regular pack for the face nd u don't need that many) If u do a good job u can see all the nasty little hairs (the whole hair!) Works a hundred times btr than any hair removal creams and razors (a razor/hair removal cream is good if something came up last minute) In all this a great product :) thanks veet! — 2 months, 1 week ago

Good in a pinch

I like using the Veet strips for those times when the hair has to come off and there's no time or extra cash to have a professional waxing session. They're not perfect, but they do take off coarse hair pretty well. I agree that the hair has to be a little long, but you can cut the strips smaller to get a better pull, which gets better results. — 2 years, 5 months ago
