This stuff turned my skin bright orange right away, it was awful and I couldn't get the orange to go away even after scrubbing my skin... it's pretty bad to star a new job after being orange for a week... it's even worse when the spaces between your fingers look disgusting when showing jewerly. — 1 year, 4 months ago

I'm surprised by the many great reviews for this gradual self-tanner, because I disliked it so much. I had three big problems with this lotion: 1. Not enough color. I'm very fair, but the "Fair Skin Tones" shade did not make much of an impact over the course of a few days. I felt like I'd wasted my money having to use so much of the product before I saw any difference. 2. Minimal moisturization. Hours after applying this so-called "moisturizing lotion", my shins were very dry. I expect better from Aveeno. 3. Odd smell. This product does dry faster than many lotion-based tanners, but until it dries, it smells bothersomely bad. I won't buy this again. — 3 years ago

I tried this stuff after reading a review on here and I love it. I did not turn orange. I actually felt comfortable and not paranoid that in the right light I would look really fake!! What really surprised me is my boyfriend kept telling me how good I smelled. — 1 year, 9 months ago

The only sunless tanner I use!

I've used this for about 3 years. There are a number of things I love about it. First of all the color when it develops is very natural and never streaks. Second, it develops over a few days as you continue to use it so that it appears very natural. I don't want to look like I laid in the sun and got a major tan, I just want some color so I don't look pasty white and that's what this gives me. I don't mind the smell at all. It is much better than most. The results are fantastic. It's one of the few products in my life that I have purchased again and again and again. The results are consistently terrific for me. Aveno makes self tanning easy and my daughter won't go out to tan anymore!

I was on a vacation in LA and I had been invited to a very exclusive party at the last minute. Everyone there is normally tan and looks great in a small halter dress/spaghetti strap dress. I had a dress but not the color. I ran to the drug store to find some quick spray on tan. I'm not the greatest with creams. All the spray cans were gone and I was horrified at the thought of having orange streaks on my hands . So I figured I love Aveno for their facial products, why not I grabbed the tube and put it on and within 1 hour I was gradually tanning and by time I hit the party I was glowing perfect. Now My daughter doesn't go to a tanning bed anymore and she just puts on Aveno. — 3 years ago

The most natural color

I have always LOVED every Aveeno product I have ever tried and this Aveeno Continuous Radiance Moisturizing Lotion for Fair Skin is no exception. I have very fair skin and most self tanners look terribly fake on me, but not this one. The color is more like a soft radiant glow than an orange peel. Because this product is so hydrating I don't need to use a seperate body lotion on the days that I use this product! Also it doesn't have that terrible fake tan scent. — 3 years, 1 month ago

The best self tanner

I usually don't care about looking tan, but the washington weather really made me look pale and UN-radiant. The lotion smell isn't strong. it moisturizes amazingly and makes skin GLOW. none of that orangy color. i can even use it on my face because it does cause breakouts. I have fair skin and Aveeno Continuous Radiance Moisturizing Lotion gave me a natural, healthy looking glow. I actually received compliments on my skin, thats how natural it looked. This formula doesn't streak and is not heavy and sticky. Within 2 days I started to notice a difference in my skin and by the 4th day my skin was radiant.
