Nice shampoo but so-so as volumizer
This shampoo lathers very well and cleanses gently, and it has very subtle/clean scent. But I did not see any volume change (FYI: I used the matching conditioner). Miracle for my Hair
I just got this and tried it, and since I haven't been using it long term or anything, I don't know yet whether or not I will actually see volume from this, but I plan on getting the styling products as well (I bought the shampoo, conditioner, and dry shampoo today, and I want the whole line) to see if I can get some real volume from them. I love the smell of John Frieda, and it lathered up a lot, which scared me a little, but I found this to be incredibly gentle actually. My hair is so unbelievably soft now, smells amazing, and has that natural swish and bounce that healthy hair should have and that product build-up takes away. I just got my hair cut yesterday, and got some layers put in it that weren't exactly what I had in mind, but look cute if I could only get some volume. Regardless, this stuff left my hair in incredibly good condition (better than fresh from the hairdresser?!), and smells just pleasantly clean, and I think it's a nice simple shampoo and conditioner with all the extra nonsensical ingredients and heavier ones that weigh hair down removed. I like the shampoo better than the conditioner actually, which I don't think has ever happened to me since I have fine, dry hair. I used the shampoo, some of the conditioner, and then put some more shampoo on my scalp/roots just to clean some of the conditioner off again and leave my hair really clean. My hair even feels good after hairspray and heat styling! I give it a 10 for its value as a hair care product, but I'm not convinced that it adds volume without the aid of the other products in the line. I'm hoping the combination of the products will lead to some amazing, voluminous hair. Good basic shampoo

Good Shampoo
I have the thinnest hair on the planet I am sure. My hair is incredibly fine and very flat. Today I decided to opt trying this shampoo. The smell is definitely nice. A very fresh clean smell. It lathered up A LOT in the shower. It was actually kinda nice being so lathery. I did my usual upside-down blow dry routine and it looks pretty good. My hair feels VERY soft. It didn't dry it out. It is very shiny. The volume part was decent. It does look a lil fuller than usual. I would have liked a lil more volume but it was my first time using this so maybe it gets better with time. Not bad for the price
I'm sort of a shampoo tramp. My conditioner I am pretty loyal to, but I've tried pretty much every shampoo out there. For the price, this one is quite good. I can tell a difference when I use it versus using a non-volumizing shampoo. It has a clean smell, doesn't dry the hair out, and seems to add shine as well. Great shampoo!!
