Ardell Brow & Lash Growth Accelerator Reviews

A beauty disaster.
I was so excited to try this product, and have been searching for it everywhere! I'd heard really good things about it on another makeup website, so I figured for $4 it was worth a try. I gave up on this product after a week. While this product did not make my eyelashes fall out, and may even have maintained my lashes, it caused my eyelids to itch terribly, and my eyes were producing the little crusties. Sorry--it's gross to say, but even worse when it's happening to your eyes. Oh well. I haven't thrown it away yet, but I should. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Irritating, but cheap.
There are a number of products out there that promise to condition and lengthen lashes - Ardell, Mavala, Talika, Revitalash are just some of them. The difference in price between these products is almost breathtaking (Ardell is under $4; Revitalash up to $170 and Mavala and Talika somewhere in between). So far I have tried Ardell, Mavala and Talika. Initially I liked both Talika and Ardell, but they started to irritate my eyes after a few days. I couldn't keep Ardell on for long enough to figure out if it works...For a cheap-ish, non-irritating lengthener I would choose Mavala. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Regrew My Sparce Eyebrows!
I've been using Ardell Lash Growth Accelerator for the past 2 years. I purchased the product to grow out my sparse, uneven eyebrows. I applied the product directly onto my eyebrows twice a day. After 3 weeks of use I began to notice hair growth along my brow bone. Although this product has worked for me it may not work for you. Afterall, one size fits all is not realistic expectation. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

give it time
i dont think it makes your lashes grow.but i think it keeps them conditioned so they are not dry and brittle.it takes time .but after a few months my lashes are softer and a little thicker.not a growth accelerator more a conditioner. — 2 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

50/50
I do not see any difference in growth on my brows or my lashes. I mainly bought it because of the reviews on another beauty website but this does nothing. I haven't used this religiously but all it seems to do is strengthen my lashes. My brows - no difference in anything. When I wake up in the morning & wash my face, this film/glue type appears on my eye lashes & lids. Kind of like a peel. So think of false eyelash glue dried & then put under water... it becomes white/black & tacky. I didn't have any irritations like others but be careful what you but on/near your eyes. They are one of the 5 more important body parts for your 5 senses! Besides the strengthening of my lashes, there was no growth which doesn't live up to it's name. We can only dream of a product like this that actually gives a thicker & fuller set of lashes without the $200 price tag. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

It doesn't work.
Sorry, but you might as well try castor oil on your lashes. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Ehh, i dunno yet
It seems to just strengthen my lashes but not really cause them to grow, i won't really complain because its cheap. But what is cheaper is castor oil, that has made my lashes thicker and longer within a weeks use. Also works on eyebrows. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Burned my skin!
I bought this after reading some favorable reviews because my lashes had started to go quite brittle and sparse (I'm a mascara junkie). After 2 days of using it I woke up and both eyes were swollen and red raw. My skin started peeling and the swelling didn't go down for about 3 days, the red marks remained for a week. I have no idea what ingredient it was, but I threw this stuff in the bin straight away and I will never use it again. As an aside, after a week of not being able to use anything on my eyes my eyelashes started to look much thicker and healthier - so maybe taking a break from wearing mascara is a much better idea. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Quite nice!
I had been thinking pretty hard about purchasing either Talika Lipocil or Fusion Beauty lash growth products, but decided to give this a try mainly because of the cheap price tag. I am asian, and we're known for sparse eye lashes. However, this actually did work for my lashes. I don't know if the proteins in it just strengthened my lashes to limit lash fall out, but my lashes are now a lot more full than they were before I started using this. The only shortfall of this product is that I had to use over 3 tubes in order to see any visible improvements in my lashes which can eventually add up to one Talika Lipocil. Fusion is just a different story! Still, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants nicer, fuller lashes. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful
