      Watch the amounts!

I have very frizzy hair, so I'm always in need of a good de-frizzing cream. This product did a good job of it, but there's something you need to watch out for: the amount you use. If you use a small amount, your hair will be perfect. No frizz, softness, the works. If you use just a bit too much, your hair will feel h...eavy with product and you'll lose volume. It can really feel gross. You can avoid this, though. Just make sure that you use no more than a dime size. The scent of this was good, too. November 24, 2008, 10:05 am

      Pretty Good!

I used this with my damp hair. As I may have mentioned, I usually don't blow dry my hair after pure laziness. This product can be used for damp hair to prepare it for styling. I found this to not be oily, but more so like the consistency of a leave-in conditioner. Surprisingly, it really helped to detangle my hair. I also l...ike to use this as a heat protectant and general smoother. It doesn't provide instant results of shine and bounciness because that's not it's job. It's a smoothing cream, and for it's purpose it works well. November 20, 2008, 6:04 am

      Not that bad

I liked it. It did exactly what it said. As soon as I put it on, it made my hair soft and I saw a little bit of shine too. It’s a quick fix and it kept my frizz somewhat under control. I had better but for the price it's not bad. November 11, 2008, 11:39 am

Great scent, lovely in hand, didn't reduce flyaways though

I love finding good quality hair products at the drugstore. It's fun to pick up some new bargains, and even better when you find a gem. The L'Oreal Studio Smoothness Smoothing Cream Glossing Cream (that name is a bit redundant, right? It's not just me, is it?) is not really a gem. I had high hopes for this product since I ...adore styling creams. They typically are light weight and keep humidity out while taming flyaways gently. And they seem to work for numerous hair types. For the record, my hair type is mostly straight, fine, slightly dry, and chin length. I used this styling cream after a fresh shampoo and condition. Then blow dried gently. My hair flew everywhere. I had knots, tangles, and frizzies. Normally I have some flyaways, but I looked like I had stuck my finger in an electrical socket. Great for Halloween... not so good for a normal day. I did LOVE the scent though, but not enough to use it again. It certainly make work for some but for me? Nope. September 29, 2008, 1:10 pm
