Overpowering

I recieved this as a gift and frankly the only thing I can praise is the bottle, the design is adorable, with the tiny black bow. The smell is a very heavy floral scent which is just not me. There is nothing crisp or light about this perfume, it seems to hang on and inflitrate every room. The smell isnt horrid, but it is too strong.

Underappreciated Beauty!

I never read much about Nanette Lepore perfume, but I think it is a lovely, fresh sparkling floral. It is not shriekingly loud, but the florals are there, along with an almost effervesant quality. When I put it on, I feel "pretty". This is one product where the packaging truly represents what is inside. If you find them too girly, chances are you may find the perfume the same. This is not, however, a sweet, fruity floral. Those elements are there, but with a bit more depth.

Feminine, but not girly.

Nanette Lepore is a wonderful floral fragrance that comes across as fresh, clear and bright. It's modern and feminine-- not your grandmother's floral or pre-teen's. I love it for work because of its subtlety; however, I need to freshen it up at lunch break. I love how it turns slightly warm as time passes and there's no "powdery" finish to it either.
