Nothing Special
For the price, I think Lavanila Body Butters are a waste of money. I like the consistency of the lotion itself, but the lack of consistency with the fragrances is not OK. Wonderful Texture and Scents and HEALTHY!
I have this body butter in Coconut Vanila and a small size in Grapefruit Vanila (I like to try the different scents in the smaller sizes first). They are both fabulous. The coconut has a slight scent and the grapefruit is more scented. These are very luxurious feeling, and I love the whipped texture. The grapefruit scent lasts all through the day and gives me a pick me up. Perfect for the summer months as it is very light and perfectly scented. I know that sometimes the scents tend to vary but that is because they are 100% natural! I think that's a great thing. All the scents are amazing...
For the last year or two, Shivaughn & I have been big fans of Lavanila Laboratories & their products. She originally bought herself a bottle of Vanilla Blossom & a bottle of Pure Vanilla for me (this was during my Chanel hiatus). Well, it's pretty much been her signature scent since then and the Pure Vanilla version is of my favourites - it's very earthy & sensual. In any case, my fondness grew for the gorgeous scent & the fact that so much of what you put on your body is actually absorbed into your body. Lavanila is super safe, natural, and wonderful - a perfume that actually delivers anti-oxidants! Imagine that? Over time the line has expanded in both scent selection & product variety, the latest being Vanilla Lavender - a lovely sleepy time scent. Lathering up with the body butter prior to bed time put me in such a relaxed, serene state. Yummy!
I bought the trio set of these from Sephora a while back which contained vanilla, vanilla grapefruit and vanilla blossom. My favorite from the set is the vanilla blossom. It has kind of a spicy sweet smell and reminds me of Ralph Lauren's Hot. My new favorite is the vanilla coconut. It smells so good! It is my go to scent once the weather starts to get warm. As far as the body butters themselves...they are really thick and luxurious and nicely moisturize the skin. Delicious perfection!
I am in love with my Lavanila body butter in Vanilla grapefruit, partly because of the moisurizing ingredients and partly because of the wonderful scent. This even beats my old favorite, Origins ginger souffle. I now want to own every product in the Lavanila grapefruit vanilla family including the fragrance, body wash, and lip shine. Buttery delicious
Yummy!! I received a 3 pack of Lavanila body butters as a christmas gift. These body butters smell amazing. Everytime I used them people commented on how good I smelled. I love that the ingredients are all natural (which can be hard to find.) Don't be fooled by the price; a little bit goes a long way.
