Certain Dri Certainly Puts an End to Perspiration and Odor!
A few things I learned in modeling school years ago which I will never forget: 1) A liquid antiperspirant is generally more effective than a solid one; 2) Vary your antiperspirants, as your body can become accustomed to the ingredients in one over time; 3) Unscented antiperspirants will not interfere or conflict with any body powder, lotion, or perfume you wear; and 3) Never apply right after shaving. Minor irritations can become major, uncomfortable problems. I went through a huge variety of antiperspirants and liked many of them, but I noticed sweating and slight body odor at the worse possible times (for instance, occasionally at corporate meetings or while standing in front of my students, who miss absolutely nothing!). A friend recommended Certain Dri. With my modeling days in mind, I opted for the non-scented, liquid variety (about $5.50). She told me that she had thought it was once available by prescription only. That in itself was enough to convince me to try it. CERTAIN DRI PUT A TOTAL END TO MY SWEATING AND ANY UNPLEASANT ODOR! It contains Aluminum Chloride, an ingredient most often chosen by dermatologists for patients suffering from excessive sweating, or Hyperhidrosis. Certain Dri is different from other antiperspirants--it is supposed to be used only at night, after washing, as sweat glands are least active then. You can shower the next morning, but the protection will stay through water and soap. It is a clear liquid which will not stain clothing or leave annoying white marks behind (applause, applause!). I have unintentionally traveled and left Certain Dri at home. Not to worry, as the protection lasts longer than twenty-four hours for me. There is a "refresher" product available for touch-ups in the morning, but I've never needed this. Certain Dri has proved itself again and again, even through ninety-degree-plus temperatures and outrageous humidity! Just a word of warning: Be sure that you have allowed a good amount of time to pass between shaving and application. This potent product can produce slight stinging which generally passes with time, and you don't want to irritate open pores. My clothes are saved!
I sweat entirely too much. It doesn't matter what the weather is or how much activity I'm doing. My clothes were steadily being ruined by excessive sweating, I was in a constant state of sporting embarrassing sweat stains, and all of the "prescription strength" products on the market still fell way, way short. This is the only thing that has stopped my sweating. Works
This antiperspirant actually does what it says & I love that it's unscented. There are only two reasons why it doesn't get a 10 out of 10: Firstly, it doesn't block BO so if that's a problem for you then you'll need to use something scented or something that blocks odor also. I have a weaker, pretty smelling deodorant for when I know I'll be getting smelly, like when I'm going to work out. Secondly, it can irritate your skin sometimes. NOT FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
To be completely honest, I've had excessive sweating problems for years now and one of my friends recommended this to me. It started out working AMAZINGLY. I could actually wear t-shirts out on a hot day. About a week after using this product, I put it on and it started itching and burning. It was so bad that I had to take a shower and wash it off. I tried again the next day and didn't wash it off, and the itching and burning lasted for almost 2 hours! Also if you use this product within 24 hours of shaving or washing, you'll get the same itch-burn effect. I was SO disappointed that such a wonderful antiperspirant made my armpits feel like they were on fire. Lifesaver!
I've honestly tried soo many anti-perspirants and this one is the absolute best. I don't sweat anywhere but my armpits, which used to be gross & wet, but this thing keeps them 100% dry. Best Drugstore Antiperspirant!
This is the best antiperspirant that I've used. Ive been using it for about 2 years now and I've never had a problem with it. I can wear anything I want in any temperature because my armpits won't sweat a drop. I only need to apply it every other day and I won't sweat at all. There are a few cons, but the pros outweigh them. It's not a deodorant, so if you have an odor problem you'd need to wear a deodorant on top. After application, your armpits itch for a little bit, but it goes away. I'm a 22 year old female and it was embarrassing to go on dates with sweaty armpits. You get so paranoid about your armpits that you start sweating even more. I first heard of this product when my daughter was a teenager, and really wanted to try it. When she moved out on her own later, she accidentally left a partial bottle home, so I tried it. I love it! I used to get really sweaty, especially when I wore shirts that were tight in the armpit area. Ever since using this I don't even get a drop of sweat on my armpits. Even when working out, I'll be sweating everywhere except under my arms. The only problem is sometimes I get itchy and red on my armpits, and I've also noticed dark spots.
