This is your average conditioner, nothing special. If you are happy with the conditioner you have now and just want to try something new, look elsewhere. This is no different than the many other conditioners on the drug store shelves. Aussie has came out with a lot of new lines lately but none seem to be as good as the lines they discontinued for their new products. The smell is pretty strong so make sure you smell it before you decide to buy. Edit- I think this conditioner is causing itchy scalp, nothing else has changed in my routine but this conditioner. I will be returning this. I was looking a cheap conditioner that would work well on my long thick hair which is really hard to untangle. I usually try to stick to natural products from the health food store, but it gets expensive so I switch once in a while. I like this product for the smell and it does feel very moisturizing. One of the reviewers said that it "coats" your hair, I would not be surprised because most of the cheap shampoos and conditioner rely on wax coating to make your locks shiny and silky. I use apple cider vinegar in my hair once in a while to deep cleanse and switch brands to try to minimize that effect. Apple cider vinegar is effective for the winter as well when the air is dry and you get dandruffs. It helps balance the ph. I rolled out of bed this morning, looked in the mirror and thought, "Wow. My hair is really shiny" --which is not typical for me. My hair looks healthy, feels ultrasoft, and shines even more than when I use John Frieda's salon glaze. I can't speak much for the strengthening aspect as yet being that I've only used it twice. I haven't noticed much less hair coming off on my comb. Hopefully with continued use my hair will become stronger and I'll give this product a fifth lippie. Until then, I give it an enthusiastic four. — 5 months, 2 weeks ago

    Hair Heaven

This is the ONLY shampoo I have ever bought twice. It made my hair super soft, shiny, and manageable. In every picture I have taken with friends, at events, and such, my hair shows through as mega-shiny. My hair has NEVER looked this good, and it is all because of this product. It leaves hair soft, manageable, and does not weigh it down. This is a must have and has done WONDERS for my hair. I would recommend it to everyone! — 2 years, 2 months ago

    Ummmm?!

    AmberDB (176 reviews)
Seriously, not sure how this product has such a low rating. I use it with Aussie Opposites Attract Shampoo and it does wonders for my hair. Not kidding people, wonders. My hair is shinier than ANY conditioner has ever made it before. I specifically skipped my shine serum the first time I used this so I could see the bare results. My hair was soft, manageable and super shiny. Also, the smell is amazing. My boyfriend noticed it right away. The best part is, it's only a few bucks. I think this product is worth a shot. If you hate it, you've only wasted 3 dollars...that's like a cheeseburger or something. C'mon now! — 3 years ago

Waste of $ and damaged my hair

    daridac (3 reviews)
I got this conditioner a few days ago cause I wanted to try the aussie brand. It has been the worst mistake I ever made. In addition to the $ I lost, my hair was so dry afterward it was impossible to detangle. Since that, I've been forced to recondtion my hair several times to make soft and easy to comb again. Three days later and my hair is still a mess. I would never use this product again even if I was paid for it. — 3 years, 3 months ago

    it's ok.

    NightNgale (10 reviews)
I tried this product a year or two back and was neither unimpressed or impressed. I don't know if the brand has changed the formula or not, but it's like any other shampoo. I didn't notice a marked improvement in the texture of my hair. — 3 years, 6 months ago
