Remington Wet 2 Straight w/ Slim Plates Reviews

Good product
This product works well and without damaging hair, provided you follow the instructions. There are a few things you should consider when using it that aren't in the product information. When the hair steams (hence why there are vents) it is hot. I burned myself on the steam several times. But a pair of heat resistant gloves and use them. Do not use this with product in your hair. It will gunk up the steam vents which are incredibly difficult to use. Finally, no matter what the product or others may say, do not use on soaking wet hair. Let your hair air dry or hit it with a blow-dryer for a couple of minutes. Otherwise, it will take forever and you run the risk of damaging your hair. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

good for wet, bad for dry
this works awesom eon drying hair, it leaves it straight and wicked shiney. bad on hair that is already dry. it left my hair frizzy, dry as hay, and no shine after. not to mention my hair was getting stuck in the holes where the steam escapes. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

My favorite!
Love this! It works better than any straightener I gave ever used! You do need to be careful with this one. Your fingers can slip and touch the plate, burning you! I actually use the glove from my curling wand with this and it works great! Anyway I love this straightener it work wonders on my hair! :) — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

curls be gone
I have really thick curly hair and this straightener works wonders. it takes out the poof because it does not have to dry and be brushed out! My hair comes out smooth, straight, and not poofy AT ALL! Love this thing. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Not bad at all...
I was VERY skeptical about buying this flat iron but I was in desperate need of one (my chi broke). I tried it and I was really amazed at how straight it got my hair. I was pleased. If you are looking for a decent cheap flat iron, I would definately give this a try. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Amazing!
I used it once, and it's great. U usually don't straighten my hair, but every now and then I decide to. I used it on my wet hair, and it was great. It heated up quicker than any straightener I've ever used. It was ready in, like, 30 seconds. It dried my hair for me, without a hair dryer, which saved me a ton of time. It didn't burn me or anything, like most straighteners do on wet hair. The strand of hair was straight with, at absolute most, 3 swipes of the iron. It was SUPER straight and shiny, and it didn't really damage the hair as much as other straighteners. In 15 minutes, I was done and on my way! With other straighteners, it took half an hour, not including drying my hair. I highly reccommend this straightener, I love it. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Nice for the price
No complaints here...I would never use a flat iron on wet hair, so I can't speak for how it works in that situation...I got mine from walmart.com and it came with a mini straightener for under $20! Works great as a 2nd straightener [I use a huge, wide straightener for my thick hair, but I need a small one to get near the roots] — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful
