Great at First

When i first got this straightener i thought i was in heaven it wroked so well and i have really curly frizzy hair and it worked great, until i reliezed how bad it damages your hair! it says it has this ions in it but it didn't do anything in the end. Also when i tried straightening my hair wet, it was very poofy and you can easily get burned from the steam.

wet 2 amazing

This straightener makes my hair shiny and soft and keeps it from frizzing all day. It does tend to have a burning smell to it, and I WOULD NOT reccommed using it when your hair is wet, that can be very damaging. I've bought it 3 different times in the past 4 years because the plates chipped, but thats because I always have it on the highest heat setting. I do think next time I want a smaller 1" one so I can curl my hair, but in the mean time I really enjoy this product. :)

overall a good product

this hair iron is pretty good the better end of it is to use the higher setting on dry or damp hair it is just not as good on wet hair you end up with a puffy do and frizzy ends but overall good you may be better of with the one inch version if you have shorter hair which is something i do not have (my hair is to my waist)

I always figured...

that expensive straightners would be the only kind able to tackle my curls. Luckily, I used a friend's wet 2 straight, and it works and holds better than any other straightener I've tried (and that's a lot). I've had mine for 3 years, it's so durable.

It's alright.

Wide range of heat settings, but I find that a couple of them are one and the same (like changing from 20 to 22 is basically no heat difference). I've had mine for a year and it has yet to break or give me any trouble. It says you can use this when your hair is wet, but I advise against it. It doesn't straighten wet hair well, your hair will steam and it just feels terrible.
