Can you say trendsetter?! Now, I'm convinced that it's the way to go. Who wants leathery, wrinkly skin? Count me out. And, count me in as a Fake Bake fan. I have progressively become a self-proclaimed self-tanning expert and know all the tricks to a perfect sunless tan and have tested almost every product out there. In order to keep my title of self-tanning expert and hearing women rave about Fake Bake, I had to lather up. Starting with the Passion Fruit Body Polish, I exfoliated -- one of the most important steps of the self-tanning process. The polish kept my skin smooth and soft. Then I did a speedy towel-dry and got down to business. I chose the Fake Bake Self-Tanning Mousse. But wait! I had no gloves. What's a girl to do? Ziploc bags over the hands would have to do. The mousse contains a temporary color which helped cover ME completely. I have always been curious as to how everyone else gets it on the hard-to-reach areas on their back. Do they do countless yoga sessions to reach their go-go gadget arms behind their back? Do their hubbies or significant others get involved in the process? I still consider myself a new student of contortionist yoga and my man was at work. So I rigged a plastic trash bag to a Swiffer and went to town on my mid back. I'll give you a second to chuckle... After applying the mousse, my skin was luxuriously hydrated. And for extra bonus points, the product dried in minutes. A few hours later I glanced in the mirror to find myself bronzed and beautiful. No orange. No streaks. I'm hooked! The next day I applied the Tan Enhancing Lotion that contains ingredients that minimize fine lines, contains a shimmer, and keeps your skin feeling "like butta." With other self-tanning products, I've had to re-apply self-tanner many days in a row to achieve the same results that I achieved with Fake Bake. Fake Bake lasted through my workout sessions, ten-outfits-a-day wardrobe changes, and showers galore. The self-proclaimed self-tanning expert has met her match. — 3 years ago

At college and seperated from my favorite spray tanning salon, I was time to figure out how to get my tanned look on my own. (gulp) After trying a few different products, sprays, lotions and other mousses, i found true love in this one. Easy to apply, not streaky, is tinted so you can know where you have applied it too, and is gradual so it doesnt make you suddenly orange. — 3 months, 1 week ago

Safe and pretty tan

Love the mousse version of their regular self tanner. It's so much easier to apply/blend and doesn't leave any gross looking streaks. It looks a very NATURAL colour unlike a lot of other self tanners that I've tried in the past. Also, you can use this one on your face instead of shelling out for a separate facial lotion which I've also been sucked into in the past. All in all, totally worth the price! At $30 it will last a long time (I'm still on my first bottle!) and will even ship free from eBeauty (yes, I am a sucker for free shipping on Canadian websites). Definitely try this product if you're looking for a quality self-tanner that's super versatile. — 8 months, 2 weeks ago

Love Fake Bake and this new addition to their line-up is excellent. The formula literally looks like whipped chocolate mousse. It soaks in quickly so use self-tanning application gloves if you have them. The formula has a fresh, pleasant scent that dissipates as it dries leaving a barely detectable hint of the chemical in all self-tanners. But here's the one caveat about this product: Apply the Fake Bake self-tanner at night and rinse it off in the shower the next morning. The temporary color that helps you apply the product evenly is not water resistant so if you do have an encounter with water (I decided it was the perfect time to hose down the back porch. Duh. Not) you'll end up looking like a giraffe. It doesn't wash off the self-tanner, just the bronzer. Or, you can buff of the bronzer with a towel after it thoroughly dries. I found the resulting color natural and pretty, not orange. — 2 years, 9 months ago

I've recently found that tanning mousse is my new favorite way to get a fake tan. All though it's not the first time hearing of it, I feel I've finally found a pair that have mastered the art. Fake Bake self-tanning mousse gives a rich, dark golden tan & most definitely did not turn me orange (noted for pale & sensitive skin). — 2 years, 11 months ago
