In my review of the Powder Foundation Natural Glow Finish SPF 22 (I gave it a 10), I waxed poetic about the foundation itself, but griped about the fact that Shu Uemura sells the compact separately for a hefty $12. Since I keep my cosmetics organized in a clean drawer, I just left the refill in the light plastic container it came in and have had no problems. Works for me! The black compact itself is well made, but it is way over-priced. Don't bother spending the money unless you're the kind of gal who carries her foundation around in a cosmetic bag. There's no price break for buying the foundation and compact together.
