Harsh but Effective
All the Sea Breeze astringents are pretty harsh. That being said they are super effective and are a good thing to have in your medicine cabinet. They help stop bleeding if you cut yourself shaving, are excellent for reducing/stopping blemishes, and as previous posters have commented, they work on insect bites. Serious Cleansing
This one is not ideal for sensitive or dry skin, but even with oily skin, use this with caution because this astringent can be a little harsh. It is so strong that my skin (especially around nose) was starting to flake and peel, and my skin looked very thirsty and needed strong moisturizer. However, it seems to work fine for my husband skin.
