I got a free deluxe sample for being a VIB and I don't care for it at all. One side is a normal mascara brush, and the other side is slightly elongated like a comb. It's a good idea (like Smashbox's Hyperlash), but it clumps and sticks lashes together like crazy. The comb doesn't do much to separate the lashes. Actually really good mascara
I was prepared for the worst when I started using this mascara. I had purchased the Sephora mascara sampler kit and after using Tarte's mascara, I didn't think this would live up to how well the Tarte and other brands worked. I was really pleasantly surprised and pleased with how well their "house" brand of mascara actually worked. It goes on very evenly (the brush rocks) with no clumping. It's even easy to get those little lashes in the corners of my eyes. For a non-waterproof mascara, this one didn't smudge, flake, or disappear after a full day of wear, even after a brief rain shower and a few eye rubs. It came off easily without needing a separate remover and didn't leave my lashes brittle. Gotta love free samples! This came to me as a deluxe sample in a Sephora order .. and it took all of about two tries for me to plunk down the $16 and get the full size. I *adore* the brush on this ... the formula is smooth and the wand size is perfection! This does deliver "atomic" volume and makes my eyes look super sultry! I love this mascara .. I have finally found something else to give my beloved Voluminous some serious competition!
