Did not meet my expectations

When this was released, I bought it right away despite the high price tag. The formula was very wet, and the mascara coated my lashes quickly, but it also made all my lashes stick together. The vibrating brush was almost useless, maybe except for a fast application. No significant length and thickness improvement. I really don't think this unique wand makes this mascara any superior than most of what I have used and am currently using. — 1 year, 5 months ago

LOVE IT. You press a button on the grip of the wand which activates the movement of the wand. The wand does not spin, it actually does all of the wiggle work for you and somewhat tickles as it vibrates. After one coat I was like whoaâ€“ these lashes are coated front, back, and side to side! Thereâ€™s no need to wiggle or zig-zag like you normally would, Oscillation will do all the work for you, slowly comb through, and wah-lah! You may let out a giggle or two! The ONLY mascara I use

AMAZING lashes! I get complements frequently about my lashes and it is because of this mascara. Admittedly, the price is way more than anybody should pay for mascara but I still keep coming back to it because no other mascara can do this justice. My lashes are average but with this mascara they look long and full, but not scary. One piece of advice: Go SLOW. You cannot apply it like a regular mascara, with a quick swipe and you are done or else it will not seem like it is all that great but if you apply it slowly so the vibrating wand can do its job you will get FABULOUS results. Also, you may want to save it for special occasions because the results start to decline after about a month, still good but not the same WOW factor. Hope that helps! — 1 year, 3 months ago

I like this mascara. Using it takes patience to allow the time for it to coat and separate each lash but I did find that it coats the lashes really well - usually without clumping. But if it does clump, just go back over the section with the want to separate. I will buy again. — 1 year, 5 months ago

Possibly the very best mascara ever except it only lasts one month

I have tried, dare I admit to hundreds? of mascaras, and this new one by Lancome with the machine is incredible. The coverage was flawless, natural but thick and luscious lashes that didn't smudge or flake all day AND evening. It was easy to use and just made my whole face glow. The only con is that it just lasted a mere month. I even soaked it in very hot water for 5 min to rejuvenate it but it was still dry as a bone. I went in the store to buy waterproof Hypnose which I've used before and liked it. The salesperson talked me in to trying this mascara instead. She insisted that it was the best. I told her that I needed waterproof mascara and she never mentioned that it only comes in water resistant. I wear contacts and my eyes water a lot so this mascara was a waste of money. I consider myself a mascara applying pro and quite frankly I do a better job of applying the stuff manually. I didn't notice a reduction in clumps and found the oscillation annoying. I finally just quite using the vibrating function and was much happier, though this little jiggling gimmick ups the price. The formula is fine, but you're better off just buying a regular, non "oscillating" mascara from lancome. — 2 years, 2 months ago

I've tried 4 different vibrating mascaras, and this is by far the best brand out there. The brush is perfect for application, and getting right up on the lashline. The formula is fabulous, one slow, straight upwards coat and you are done, two coats, and your lashes are almost false looking. It is well worth the price for the performance, ease of use, and most importantly the end result. I won't buy any other mascara, I have 3 of these to make sure I don't run out. — 2 years, 5 months ago
