Smells Tasty But...

The vanilla in this product made it smell tasty but the texture was a sticky, oily mess. Granted, I'm not black so it may get different results from a different consumer, but I do have thick and curly hair. i sed this conditioner after i get out the shower to detangle and condition a bit more. i have pretty dry/ damaged hair, and it works great. i dont use it in place of a conditioner though, because it wouldnt be enough moisture for me. it smells like heaven and i love it. — 10 months, 3 weeks ago

Pleasant scent...poor product

Most of the ingredients in this concoction were of a natural persuasion...lavender, nettles, vanilla; however, that did not save it from reaking havoc on my hair. I have used it on hair both dry and wet with disasterous results. It was as if my hair had been coated in starch.leaving it dry and unmanagable. For a positive spin, I will say this product smells good and I am not even interested in remotely smelling like vanilla. Black vanilla proves to be exotic in terms of scent but that is the only pro i can list. — 1 year, 5 months ago

Great detangler!

I love this product for mostly the smell, I bought it with the rest of the black vanilla collection. I use it after the shower to detangle my hair, but that it pretty much the gist of it. Its not anything special but without it would be very difficult to untangle my hair after the shower, plus it smells awesome, but if you are expecting more then not for you! — 2 years, 6 months ago

The smell was the best smelling hair product and better then any perfume Ive ever smelled. It should be a perfume or body wash. It made my hair a little sticky but it did cut back on my frizz. Its not worth how much it cost though since I feel it didn't do the best as a conditioner compared to other products. — 2 years, 6 months ago

I actually got a headache

I found that a lot of Carol's Daughter's products had vodka in the ingredents. I thought this was okay, until I ended up with a headache. If you have a sensitivity to certain things make sure you read everything that's in your beauty products, if your not sure what something means look it up. — 2 years, 10 months ago
