This is a makeup that also treats your skin. It's a powder foundation with sheer to medium coverage. This works for me most of the time when I have pretty good skin. For extra coverage use over foundation/tinted moisturizer. It does not control oil (my skin is dry but I've been using some products that causes some shine by afternoon) but the powder still looks nice and freshly applied without having to touch up through out the day. I have not used it with the sponge applicator included but use Guerlain's Meteorite Brush to apply & it goes on smooth & even. You get .46 oz for $46 which is not too expensive considering most powders are .25 to .35 oz. I am almost always the 2nd lightest shade in powders/foundations and No. 2 was a perfect match for me.
