John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Lustrous Touch Smoothing Shampoo is a little difficult to rinse out, doesn't add much shine and smells too artificially chocolate, but the creamy formula leaves hair smooth and soft. I was a bit concerned that the heavy product would weigh my fine hair down, but even used with the equally creamy Smoothing Conditioner, my hair had just as much bounce as it always does. Because it's so rich, this shampoo may be overkill for those who don't have dry hair, but anyone looking for a sleek, not flat, look should give this a try.

    not good for thick hair

    This shampoo left my hair in a snarly mess. Although it is advertised that it is not color depositing, it definitely made my hair darker over time. July 30, 2008, 9:10 am

    i'm addicted to the shine release moisturizing shampoo and conditioner it smells awesome it keeps my kinky hair soft and smooth. The packaging is attractive and as far as quality goes it's excellent at an affordable price a little goes a long way. i haven't touched up my hair color in months so it's pretty faded every ti...me i shampoo i use luminous color glaze in amber to maple my friends always ask "did you just dye your hair?" superb product August 24, 2009, 2:37 pm

    I think it was hard to get the shampoo out of the bottle to begin with and then the actual shampoo wa spretty drying for my hair and my brown still faded pretty quickly. August 21, 2009, 5:14 pm

    I dye my hair a lot back and forth between dark brown and highlighted blonde. When I have brown hair, I love to use this shampoo! It smells awesome and leaves my hair richly brown and soft.
