My trip to the spa in a bottle

I use this masque about once a week to recharge my hair and I love it! It smells great and doesn't feel like it's weighing my hair down at all. Definitely something to consider for your hair care routine! — 1 year, 6 months ago

    Great treatment

I had this as a treatment at the salon and thought it was wonderful - smooth, shiny results. I ended up purchasing the Damage Remedy line because I thought my hair might need more, but actually it's a bit too heavy for me. Will use that until it runs out and then switch to Dry Remedy for the added moisture boost. — 2 years, 11 months ago

Mask is really not that great

Wow - Aveda's Dry Remedy Shampoo blew me away. The scent is overwhelmingly hippie with a capital H, but when it says it 'drenches' your hair with moisture, it really means it! I squirted this into my hand, then proceeded to check the bottle not once, but twice to make sure I had really grabbed the shampoo. It's so thick and creamy, I wholeheartedly thought it was conditioner. This shampoo is awesome (except for the scent) and really helps to heal dry hair. I was more disappointed in the Dry Remedy Conditioner and the Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque. Even though the featured ingredient (Buriti oil) is featured in all three products, the shampoo is really the most moisturizing product in the trio. Strange! — 3 years, 11 months ago

Not bad, can be used as normal conditioner

I still miss my sap moss but this will work. Its full of ingredients that help moisturize the hair and it does slightly. The dry remedy line is good but i think aveda has some better products, like damage remedy is more effective on my AA hair. — 3 years, 11 months ago

    Fab moisturizer for weekly treatments!

After testing the first two products in the family, I didn't expect much from the Dry Remedy Masque. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I used this as a twice weekly, deep-conditioning treatment and my hair really benefited. It didn't leave me flat, greasy or oily. My hair had enough bounce and it worked wonders after I colored my hair. Great restorative hair masque! So far, this is the one Aveda hair product that I've really enjoyed testing. — 4 years, 4 months ago

    A nice deep conditioner

This thick deep conditioner did an excellent job of taming my dry hair and leaving it exceptionally soft. Use it for 3-5 minutes for a basic deep treatment or longer for even more moisture. — 4 years, 5 months ago

    Expensive, But It Works

I recently only got into using deep treatments on my hair. Before using this treatment, I was using an d loving the Pantene Pro V Fortifying Fortifier, which I have recently reviewed here. I like this treatment a lot, it's thicker than the Dry Recovery Conditioner it also shares the same scent as the other products in this line. I find it to be very good for weekly treatments, I wouldn't recommend that you use this twice a week like I did with my Pantene treatment. I leave this stuff in my hair for a few minutes while I wash and shave my legs, I usually find this to be enough time for this product to work. When I was applying this to my hair, I found this stuff easy to spread into my hair, even though it's extremely thick. I feel that it sinks deeply into my hair, and rinses out without any problems. I have used this product with other shampoo and conditioners and I find that it works equally well with cheaper brands as well as the matching Aveda products. This definitely does the job if you need the extra shot of moisture. — 4 years, 5 months ago
