Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Cream Reviews

Olay Night recovery Moisturizing treatment.
I see ads in magazines about Olay products. They must must have a good advertising agency. EVERY time I buy an Olay product, so I will stop buying them. This sounded really good. But, it is greasy and sits on top of my face without ever being absorbed. Walgreens had a buy one, get 1/2 off another. I fell for this, and lost my receipt. I couldn't return it. It was a complete waste of money. No more Olay products for me. I now this as a body cream to get rid of it, and not have wasted my money. — 11 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful

A Night Cream Fit for Department Stores
This Night Cream really amazed me. After cleansing, I applied this pleasant-smelling cream to my face and slept to wake up to fresh-looking, soft skin. I don't wear a lot of make-up but I did spend many summer months in the sun during my teenage years so I was glad to find a night cream that worked wonders on my face while I slept. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 10 of 10 people said helpful

Thick luxurious cream
This is really thick and really luxurious for a "drugstore" brand. I try to use this in the winter only since it can leave my skin oily in the morning. It won't perform any miracles overnight, but it will help keep your skin moisturized. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

noticeable firmness
I could tell that the skin on my face looked a little firmer after using this. It's moisturizing without being greasy. It absorbs quickly. — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Really good
I like this because I am getting older...and although I don't see a difference, it does moisturize well. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not Very Effective
After using this cream for four more months, I have to change my review from what it was originally. First, It should be noted that this cream is quite thick; the consistency of cold creams my grandmother use to swear by, but applies very evenly for supple and smooth skin by morning. However, the cream does have a tendency to sit on my skin a little greasily before seeping in or drying completely. I have small dry patches on my chin and between my eyes, but a few days with this cream and it's like the dry patches never existed. My oily T-zone has actually gotten less shiny over time, and my skin texture has achieved a more even and pore-less look (any bumps have slowly smoothed themselves out). I should also be note that the cream has a floral and slightly powdery scent to it, which may irritate some of those who are sensitive to scent. Now here is where the bad news comes in. I have seen no results from this cream aside from the ones mentioned above. Around the 3rd month of using this cream, the results mentioned above have stopped completely. There are still small bumps, and the dry patches are back (albeit smaller) due to the winter weather. This cream was sufficient while it was still warm and less dry outside, but its effectiveness was definitely subdued when the cold rolled through. I blame the formula as well as the packaging on this point. Due to being packaged in a pot, the effectiveness of all the good ingredients have just evaporated because of how much air has gotten into the cream every time I open it! It is still thick, but less moisturizing. For the price I paid, I wish I could say my time was this cream was something Holy Grail worthy, but time as proven otherwise. I definitely wish I new this all those months back and invested in something worth my money! — 2 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Best Bang For Your Buck
For the last couple of years, this was my only moisturizer that I used at night. According to my derm, it was as good as the more expensive moisturizers. I would still be using this if I wasn't writing about other products. — 5 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 10 people said helpful

Great night cream---but not for me!
I really like the Olay Regenerist line, including the serum. However, when I tried this, after a few nights of use, I starting breaking out. I was very upset because everything about the cream was great: the texture, the fragrance, it absorbs quickly, and you only need to use a little, so the value it very good. Just not for me :+( — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

New Favorite
THis is my new favorite night product. THe commercial on TV is right-it DOES meet the performance of much more expensive department store moisturizers. The smell is light-not overly intense like some rich night creams. Speaking of rich-it is but NOT greasy and it does not invite break-outs like some night creams do. My only complaint-the top is really hard to get off the 1st time-otherwise I love this stuff. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
