L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Mistake-Proof Marker Eyeliner Reviews

Difficult and tricky
I like the name, but I would have liked it more if it were true. The tip was too big and rough to work with, and the formula was a bit runny even for a liquid eyeliner. I practiced a few times. I applied, wiped it off, and then applied again, it got better but I could not get the look that I really wanted. I gave up. I think my eyes are too small for this product. This may work for those who want a thick line and the smokey look. BTW, I picked up the black, but it looked more ash grey on my skin. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good but not Great
I love that this gives me the ability to wear liquid eyeliner with the convenience of a pen, but don't shake too much or your'e in trouble. Also, I bought a Brown color and it looks the same as the Black. But I can't lie that it does look great if you get it right. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Misleading Label
I wanted to like this because the concept is swipe, dry, done. Nope. I bought this in hopes to find a replacement for my other eyeliner and when I used this, it not only wasn't the rich black I was looking for, it was somewhat transparent. The felt tip also dried in some areas after a couple uses so snap the cap shut as soon as you're done using it! Over all, I found the felt tip too big for my waterline, making lines too thick and sometimes it streaked on my upper lid as I hoped it would dry faster. Convenience, yes. Affordable, yes. Quality? Not quite what I had in mind. — 4 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Convienent
I actually liked this product! I don't really have any issues with liquid liner any way and I didn't have any issues with this product either. They only thing I didn't like about this how uneven and streaky the liner becomes after some time. I suppose that means it's time to replace! — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Definitely A Marker, Like a Washable Marker
So, I dont know about he appeal of using a marker on ones eyes...I guess it's that you think of a nice smoky, thick dark line. Definitely not. The marker looks as though it would have this effect but then you put it on and it's light (I got black). Then you try again and the marker makes the line get so thick and messy that you may as well wear black/gray eyeshadow with a rubbed off look. To make matters worse, it is not very forgiving...one mistake and you may well do your whole face over. ok in theory but not in action. no good. Also, not very comfortable to hold. Stick with cream sticks (Maybelline Master Drama) or Liquid (Revlon Color Stay). — 1 month, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Works for me!
I love this eyeliner. I've never had any trouble with drying out or being to big of a marker. Cap it when not being used (duh) and as long as you make pretty much a straight line and do it right the first time, you wont have issues. I do agree a little little bit of flaking, but that's only when you try to reapply it after it's dried. Do it dark enough the first time through and you won't have to reapply. It stays on dark all day long as long as it doesn't get wet. Use qtips placed on your tongue if you mess up, it takes it up with no problem! When you apply it, starting from the outer corner, pull the skin taught first and make a line to the middle of your top line, then start from the inner corner and meet the line in the middle, it keeps it from bleeding and pulling the skin. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not worth the convenience
Convenient? Absolutely, if your idea of convenience is swiping and running out the door with eyeliner all over your eyelids. The tip is bulky, hard to work with, and rough. The liner was practically transparent on my medium olive skin, and no matter how many times I went over it, I couldn't get the bold, velvety line I get with bottled L'Oreal liquid eyeliners. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great Product
I've always been scared of liquid liners until now. I got this because I figured the marker type would be easier to use and was right. I can do thick or thin lines depending on how I use it. The quality was great and I feel it does what it says. I got it in black and will continue to buy it. I've had it for a couple months now and it hasn't dried out and goes on just like it did the first time. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Not mistake-proof!
Whether I use the thin or the thick end of the marker, I can't seem to get it right with this eyeliner. I think the tip is too big for me to see where I am drawing the line. And it is hard to remove from my eyes, no matter how much makeup remover I use. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
