OPI Nic's Sticks Reviews

Not for me
I prefer bottle polish, and I love their bottle polish. This just does not last and requires too many touch ups. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

So-so performance
It dries pretty fast but it is because one coat is very thin. I have to apply 3 coats to make the color even, thus, in the end it takes more time to finish than when I use a regular Opi. The color I bought "Cram for an Exam" was nice , but it does not last long. I have to retouch daily basis, which is my major complaint. You will definitely pay more for convenience. This is an innovative product, but the result is just mediocre. In conclusion, I still prefer their bottle nail polishes. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Nice Concept,
Nice concept, but not really well thought out. The polish leaked out of the stick and all over my other Essie and OPI polishes. The colors are very limited. I'll stick to Nic's Sticks mother company, OPI! — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Text Me
After Mother's Day Brunch with my family, Mom pulls out a sample she had received and asked me to review it: Nicole by OPI - Nic's Sticks. At first glance, it looks like a magic marker. With a shake-pump-and-paint action, I magically painted my nails with ease. The color -- Text Me (sixth pen from the left) -- was a Ballet Pink does Mauve. Sitting at the table having tea, I did one coat on all ten nails in a matter of a minute. I am more ambidextrous than most, but I think anyone could successfully paint their nails with Nic's Sticks -- even tremendous tremulous Mom. I intend to purchase other colors. This is magic in a pen. Keep moving, Jamie — 4 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Terrible!!
This chips SO fast and it either comes out too thin or too globby. It is super pricey for the results and took much longer to dry than anticipated, — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Ok
I like the idea but I find the design of the pen hard to store. The brush gets nasty and clumpy quickly on it and you can see the brush strokes when it dries. I will use what I have and probably top it off with a glitter coat or crackle to make it work for me, but I won't buy them again. — 7 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Just ok...
I got this polish some time ago and only used it once. I bought the shade, "Need it Yesterday" Which was a very pretty deep purple. I found this nail polish pretty hard to put on! While the color was very pigmented and lovely. I could not get it to go on smoothly. In the end it just looked like a hot mess on my finger. On top of that, it took a decent amount of time to dry and ended up rubbing off. It looked like I let a 3 year old paint my nails. That does not sound very "on the go to me." All in all I loved the idea, but I hate the product. Which is sad because I really wanted this to work and I expect better from OPI Not to mention the cost of it being almost as much as a regular OPI Polish. I think I will just stick of the regular polish. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

regular nail polish
this has the worst nail applicator ever. And I still can't believe I spend $9.00. I did buy this thinking it was a nail pen, but it's just a regular brush. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

OPI NIC'S Sticks
I bought three of these on clearance for $3 and was really excited to try them out. I got a pale pink color, hot pink, and bright orange. They are great colors on the outside but I tried each color on my nail and It took 2-3 coats to get the color opaque. It did take a while to dry. It would probably be easier just to use a regular bottle of nail polish but if you want a sheer polish to keep on the go this may be right for you. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Why Didn't I think of that???
This GREAT product is for those of us who get chipped nails miles away from the nearest manicurist. When I requested it in a local store, the clerk had to ask where it was stocked. When she saw it, she was so sold on it as well! Put one in your handbag and GO!! — 3 years, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
