Unlike DuWop Venom Gloss and Urban Decay Big Fatty Lip Plumper, Maybelline New York Volume Seduction Plumping Gloss doesn't burn and sting. Rather, it makes lips feel tingly and almost numb -- a strange but not unpleasant sensation. The plumping isn't dramatic, but you can notice a slight difference for about an hour after applying. The real reason to try this is for the intense moisture. Lips feel soft and fine lines are smoothed for hours after applying the thick, citrus-scented gloss.

    Maybelline New York Volume XL Lip Plumper

    For me, this plumper wasn't harsh on my lips. At first It just tingled and after my lips were nice and numb. The packaging is cute, I didn't have any problems with it yet. I don't think it made my lips look XL but it deffinetly plumped out any lines and made them look smooth and plump. How ever I don't like the fact it leav...es a residue on your lips witch is a bit uncomfortable. My lips are pretty plump to begin with but this still worked for me. Also, this gloss stays on for a very short amout of time, around 2 hours or so. It is not super sticky, I love the colour "Born with it". So I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a lip plumper on a budget, just don't expect your lips to be super large, just rather plump. September 2, 2009, 3:18 pm

    love this plumper

    Now I do have already plump angelina-esque lips but I like to make them look more flawless and hide imperfections. I love the colors, as well as the plumping effect. It tingles, and can put u off guard the first time you use a plumper. But I do have to say it does the job and I love mine!! I highly recommend it.     Just bought my first tube!

    I just bought this in a new color (Inspiring Iris), and it's definitely a new fave. It doesn't plump as much as my #1 plumper, LipFusion, but it does enough, and it doesn't plump by irritating my lips. The staying power is pretty good, as I still have a good amount left after drinking from a water bottle a couple times. ...I love the scent, and it makes my lips feel so soft.     I love this gloss. It does not set your lips on fire like some of the high priced brands, and you don't have to worry about turning the area around your mouth red too. It is gentle and I love the colors. It is so cheap I bought it in a few different colors. It's textrue is great too.     Great Gloss, but no plumping

    If you want a lip gloss with a lot of shine and lasts for hours this is what you've been looking for. It's claim to plump your lips however is severely lacking. It makes your lips feel moisturized and it's not heavy which is nice but other lower priced lip glosses can do that. August 12, 2008, 11:22 am

    I agree that the sensation was not disturbing like many other plumpers, but i didn't experience any noticeable plumping. Also, I did not really enjoy the texture of the gloss, it wasn't nearly as smooth as i was hoping for. November 10, 2009, 2:18 pm
