Maybelline New York VolumeXLSeduction Lip Plumper
Editor's Rating & Review
Unlike DuWop Venom Gloss and Urban Decay Big Fatty Lip Plumper, Maybelline New York Volume Seduction Plumping Gloss doesn't burn and sting. Rather, it makes lips feel tingly and almost numb -- a strange but not unpleasant sensation. The plumping isn't dramatic, but you can notice a slight difference for about an hour after applying. The real reason to try this is for the intense moisture. Lips feel soft and fine lines are smoothed for hours after applying the thick, citrus-scented gloss.

Ick.
LipglossandSpandex (486 reviews)I don't like the plasticky smell. Didn't plump at all. The applicator was a little awkward. The color was sheer, and I didn't like the texture. I threw it away. — 9 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

MissPurple (581 reviews)Not a fan! There was no "plump". The applicator was awkward to use, like rubbing plastic on your lips. I like the sheer color, but it dried my lips out really bad. — 6 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Decent as gloss, so-so as plumper, bad for sensitive lips
luckybetty (880 reviews)I like the color (Seductively Nude), the glossy finish and the product design (no mess, I just twist the bottom). However, it leaves my lips very tingly. The tingling feeling does not last too long, but still it took 4-5 times until I got used to the weird sensation. If you have chapped or sensitive lips, I don't think this plumper is ideal. Also, the color does not stay too long. I see a lip stain on my coffee mug almost each time I drink. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
