Weird, but awesome

MAC's Volcanic Ash Exfoliator is exactly what it sounds like: an exfoliant made from volcanic ash. But wait, there's more! This ash comes from live volcanoes on Vanuatu - yes, that Vanuatu - the one made famous in Survivor. Nice. I have to admit, I'm a bit weirded out by this. It is black and gritty. Now, of course, most exfoliants are gritty - they include those little scrubby things. This exfoliant is made of ash (which contains sulfur, wow and ick) and sugar crystals. This stuff is pungent. It's not funky, or anything, but it smells ... earthy is the best word for it, I guess. It ...08/15/2008
