Its ok, but has some flaws
I bought this on the recommendation of the sales girl (i know, I'm prolly a sucker). I love that it foams up into a cleanser, and the smell is unique (i like it, but i bet some people don't). It doesn't leave my skin too dry, which is great, but the scrubbing bits are jagged and uneven, and can sometimes hurt if you get a little overzealous in scrubbing. I like it, but I won't be rebuying. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Unique
I bought the MAC Volcanic Ash Exfoliator based on amazing reviews all over. A bit overrated I must say. It is limited edition so temptation kicks in... I want to have an extra just in case. Although the actual product isn't that great. Blahblahblah, real volcanic ash we get it. The sugar crystals? Painful! They scratch my skin & cause inflammation if I don't wet my hands before & after I apply! Too MUCH water will melt the crystals & I won't be able to exfoliate. It's not like my face isn't already sopping wet too! The MAC Volcanic Ash Exfoliator smells earthy & ashy, not good for sensitive noses. I would say it's a little expensive but it isn't as if we have a load of volcanic ash resourses. The product itself also doesn't really do much for my skin. My skin feels fresh & clean after using it but I don't see any less or more in pimples. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
