Perfect for everyday use
I've bought a variety of colors and finishes of this gloss and I'd say they're slightly above average. The consistency is a little thin but it gives lips a pretty good shine. It's not very long lasting so I find myself re-applying several times a day, which is ok given the very affordable price. Many times the colors are not true to the pictures in the catalogs, so ordering them can be hit or miss. Long Lasting
I can't stand glittery lips, so I always get this in the Intense or Shine categories that they come in and I love them! They're on sale probably half the time and they last me quite a while! In Love
One of my biggest problems with Avon is that neither the website nor the campaign booklets shows you WHAT THE PRODUCT REALLY LOOKS LIKE. On the web, the Glazewear shades come across as flat, cheap, banal, and completely lacking dimension or depth. I hope those words are tasty, because now I have to eat them. I bought four of them because they were on sale for $2.49. "Rave" is a mauve-y plum color...read more with a lot of sparkle. "Darling Pink" looks like Pepto Bismol but wears gorgeously as a subtle cotton-candy pink (glad I got two of those). "Tickled Pink" is like "Darling Pink"s more fair-skinned, sparkly little sister. I also bought "Peach Twist", which is actually part of the Glazewear Duo Reflect product line, but it's worth mentioning because it's my favorite of the bunch. It's hard to describe, but it's about three different colors in one: a pearlized, iridescent peach/cotton candy/lilac acid trip of a color. I need to buy about ten of those. So many women say these are the "best" lip glosses, but I'm not 100% sure about that. I'm positive there are more pigmented, longer-lasting glosses out there, but I'm just as sure that you'd have to pay much more for them. But I'd rank these up there with Buxom and NARS glosses. They feel great, they have no icky smell or taste, and the colors are gorgeous. I sure wish Avon would come up with some more colors (right now there are about 12 or so), and show us what they ACTUALLY look like on the website and in the booklets. Nonetheless, I'm going to buy ten more when I get my paycheck Friday. In the land of Bargain Lipglosses, Glazewear is King. good value if on sale
I like that this lip gloss is not sticky the colors I got were sheer and gave a subtle shine to my lips not too dramatic. It’s a good gloss if you don’t really like that super shiny look that seems like your drooling on yourself. Avon Glazewear is all I use!
I noticed most of the posts that had a negative review were over a few years old and the newer reviews all said they loved it. That leads me to believer Avon must have made a big improvement in their Glazewear lip gloss because I for one love it! Since I tried Avon's Glazewear I hardly use lip stick anymore. Such a fan!
I've been using this lip gloss for several years now and I just love it! They have a great variety of colors and the gloss isn't too sticky or gloopy.
