Pleasantly surprised
I am a volume addict. Even though I have a fair amount of lashes naturally, I just can't seem to get them big enough! This won't deliver the same dramatic results you get with Diorshow, but considering this sells at around $7 it is well worth the money. I like the brush (large, which is my preference), it doesn't flake off, no irritation, and doesn't clump. Not so good
At first, I thought this was a pretty good mascara. I tried the waterproof version, and it stayed in place all day. Big problem came about two weeks after using it. It started to get very clumpy in the tube and went on horribly. I returned it to the store for another, thinking maybe the one I got was out of date. The new one didn't expire for another two years, but it started to clump up again on me in about two weeks. I don't pump the brush in the tube so I don't know why this would gum up like this. It was a nice mascara while it lasted. Not a lot of volume or length, but good for running everyday errands. Messy
Looks nice & natural when it's first applied, but give it some time and you'll be met with flakiness and a strange "drying" feeling. Made my eyes itchy. Healthy maybe but volume? I don't think so!
If you are looking for a mascara that isn't crispy and nourishes lashes while looking natural, this is probably for you. The brush is GIANT and the spaces between the bristles allow for good lash separation. It's big drawback though: not much volume. I am always on the prowl for volumizing mascara that doesn't make lashes crunchy, and this product only delivered on the non-crispy qualification. It's not horrible, so I will definitely finish the tube, but I doubt I will buy it again. Not my favorite, but a close 2nd
I really like this mascara. It goes on smoothly, although you may have to wipe the tip of the wand due to some clumpiness (but not enough to make it a bad product). I have very straight, fine lashes, and this mascara did not weigh them down like some others can. It works great if you curl your lashes first. One coat wasn't quite enough, but two works well and gives a natural, professional (meaning good for work) look. The black color is probably best for emphasis. Package is good, tube seals well, and brush is a good size. Not expensive, so give it a shot if you're on the market for a new mascara. I'm in love
I love this mascara. It is just a fantastic as Benefit's badgal lash at a much more affordable price. It makes your lashes soft and full and look like you have many more than you thought you had. The brush is thick and soft and separates lashes beautifully. Was mislead...
I read a review somewhere else that this was a good mascara, I was out of my usual Loreal Voluminous Waterproof, and decided to try this. It worked as well as my old, dried out, clumpy tube of the Loreal stuff. Fine at first
At first I really liked this mascara. It gave decent volume, length, and separation and had a natural look and didn't feel crunchy or brittle. But after a while it started to clump and make my lashes stick together and look spidery. It can be really clumsy since the brush is so big and the formula has gotten messy. When I first had the product I was planning on buying it again but I don't think I will anymore. I would only recommend this mascara if you want very natural-looking lashes.
