Very Nice Primer

I'm really hard to please when it comes to primer. This is silky and lightweight. I'm not aware that it's on my skin, but my complexion is perfected. Great product!

I've tried so many and I like this one a lot. Very similar to Smashbox Photo Finish original primer, but I like this one much better.

First Primer I've used

Honestly I'm not super impressed by this primer. I found that my skin looks nice to me personally, which I originally really liked... but when my picture was taken (with no flash mind you), my face was WHITE and I mean WHITE, as in it looked like there was a very very bright flash on the camera and all the light just reflected back at the camera. I've never seen that! It was very odd and I can ...read moreonly attribute it to the primer, because the moment I removed my make up and the primer and went back to have my picture take everything was fine again. Too random for me.

Love!

This is the only primer that works for me. I love the texture - a little goes a long way. It is easy to apply and really does improve the staying power of my make-up. I also like that it works with other foundations and you can even use it on the eyelids.

Not for oily skin

This primer is lightweight and applies very smoothly and helps my makeup stay put BUT it does absolutely nothing in controlling my shiny forehead :/

Basic Necessity

I felt like I got a good value out of this bottle. For starters, it comes in a pump which I like better than the twist top or lid style primers. It makes it more efficient. The formula is quite basic. Many other primers share similar ingredients. There was no offensive scent to drive me away. It fills in pores nicely and leaves almost like a powdery feel. A little bit goes a long way. I su...read moreggest a pea sized amount on your finger tips or flat foundation brush and stroke upwards where your pores are most obviously then downward in the opposite direction. I always feel that dimethicone based primers do well with powder foundations so that they do not look so blotchy. This also contains aloe and chamomile extract so it is more friendlier than some of the alternatives out the in market. I do recommend this. The only gripe I have is that even with combination skin, I feel that less of this is more. Too much can definitely cause the skin to look greasy and more blotting will be needed throughout the day.

all primed up

i first bought this as a replacement for skin rever upper and originally didnt get it. It ddnt seem to do anything for my skin. I then bought more rever upper and used them in conjunction. I never noticed anything special until recently when i tried some new products and had very bad acne breakouts for which even prescription meds arent helping it. i was in a big battle over the meds drying out ...read moremy skin, then trying to overmoustrueize and ending up with super oily spots. I decided to come back to my tried and true. I began coupling the rever upper with prime time and found a magic formula! the rever upper's salycidic acid helps control pimples and the prime time helps smooth flakiness and allows my makeup to stay on longer!! i used to use about three blotting sheets per day at work, but since starting this duo, i barely need one!! So happy i tried prime time again!!

Makes for a Nice Canvas

Smashbox's Photo Finish primer was my go to product until I discovered this gem. It really evens out my skin and allows my make up to glide on and blend very nicely, without any greasy feel. Great product!
