Reunited with Moisture Surge
Having used the original Moisture Surge for most of my 30s, I was excited to learn that Clnique had reformulated this product. Lakeside this weekend with skin as thirsty as a hungover sailor, I stopped at a department store and bought this. You know how you have comfort smells? Well, this was a comfort feel. Remembering the light, almost fluffy concoction of Moisture Surge, my skin was salivating. After applying, my body relaxed with an "Ahhhh." The literature indicates that the moisture lasts 12 hours. With a half a day at the lake and Moisture Surge under my belt, I checked out the results, and I was delighted to see that my face did seem less parched. Before I went to bed, I sealed in the moisture again. The next morning, my face was smooth and hydrated. It's always good to go back home. Comfort for dry skin
I first tried this as a sample, and I loved it! The sample lasted a long time, as I only used this at night, as with my very oily skin I was afraid it would be too greasy for day time. LOVE!
My skin is usually oily so, I am light handed and fussy about what I put on my face, however in the winter my skin becomes dry, itchy and sometimes sore... this is my go to moisturizer! I have have my BF using it at night once in awhile. This soothes dry, itchy, painfully dry skin. The best out there!
I have used Clinique products for at least 20 years, and this is the best product I've tried, and believe me, I've tried a lot of them! It's a soothing, moisturizing gel (not a skin cream, per se), and I agree with the ladies before me who said it's great for flaky, finicky skin and described it as a wonderful drink for your face. it can be used any time of the day, over or under makeup, or without. It really makes your skin feel smooth as glass. A little goes a long way, so you just have to pat a small amount wherever you're feeling dry, or your whole face if you need it. The jar lasts a while, even the small size. If you're dry at all, treat yourself to an awesome product. Drink up!
I had dry skin so I was desperate to find a solution to get rid of the dry areas on my face. This product did the trick! It has a lovely light scent to it as well. However, I would only suggest using this if you have very dry/severely dry skin as it will make your face feel greasy after prolonged usage. Too Much Sun!
Fishing off the beach and not thinking about the reflection of the sun off the water and I wound up with bright red burned cheeks. Moisture Surge to the rescue! I kept layering it on and believe it or not my face never peeled. I was so impressed that I had to write a review. Great for dry patches
I received this product as a sample when I purchase the the Clinique Even Better product. I fell in love immediately. I'm get very oily in the summer and dry patches on my forehead in the winter. This product solves both problems, I wear it throughout the summer, without increased oiliness, I apply just before putting makeup on in the more, let it set for a minute and then put on concealer. My dry patches have completely disappeared, I don't get them at all any more. The only thing that keeps me from giving this product a 10 is the jar, and the fact that they don't sell a travel size. I think I like it....
I got this as part of the free gift and I've been using it at night for a couple of weeks now. I definitely like the way it feels going on, and it absorbs well. I use this all the time
I use this everyday on my face and neck. It has a refreshing feel, and keeps my skin hydrated and smooth. I being to work, travel, wherever I go. It is very important to me, as it is good quality, and not too expensive. An amazing miracle!!! It lets my skin breathe, and is good over or under makeup-a good base, or a nice touch-up.
