Dior Diorshow Backstage Mascara Reviews

$$$
LittleBunny (393 reviews)I used to really love this mascara when I was younger, and I admit that it is unique. Your lashes will be huge and full after using it, and well-defined. Its best feature is the large brush, and the mascara formula is alright, but the color is not as intense as I would expect from a mascara of this supposed quality. A tube also tends to dry out very quickly-- it has about half the shelf life of a normal mascara. Eventually, I just decided that this mascara just isn't worth the money. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

The best.
volta (516 reviews)I have tried a LOT of mascaras of all prices and this is the best. It lengthens, volumizes and separates. It's worth the price. The only thing I don't like is that it slightly flakes off after a while. The waterproof version does not match up to the original (particularly the brush), but I wish the original would be more waterproof and flake-proof. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 7 people said helpful

pricey
beautybody (127 reviews)This mascara is very nice. It thickens my lashes and elelongates them. It also smells very nice too. I have only bought this once. Even though I could afford to keep buying it, it honestly didn't seem worth it. I have found other mascaras I like just as much for less money. I would rather spend money on an awesome foundation or eyeshadow that will last a long time versus a mascara that goes bad after a few months. It is hard to stomach. But, I guess we all have things we are willing to splurge on. — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Falsies in a tube!
leelu (354 reviews)This is the closest thing to false lashes in a tube. The big fluffy wand makes my skinny blonde thin lashes thick, dark, and luscious. I have not experienced anything negative about this yet. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Holy amazing lashes
radar626 (318 reviews)Okay, so NOW I know what all the hype is about. It took awhile, but I broke down and finagled a sample size out of a Dior makeup rep. I couldn't bring myself to pay $28 for a mascara that I wasn't sure was anywhere near the cost. I have to say that this mascara is pretty astounding. No clumps, no smudging, no flaking - just long and lush lashes that even my husband noticed. And this is with the non-waterproof version. I didn't even need to wear eyeliner. I'm a total fan now, but with a price this high I don't think this will be a typical purchase for every day wear. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

There's hype for a reason
azdrienne (101 reviews)Diorshow does things for your lashes no other mascara can. It makes lashes look absolutely huge, and I admit that I always want my lashes bigger, bigger, bigger! This mascara actually satisfies my big lash lust. It's unusual in that it's scented, so those with sensitive eyes might have problems. That said, I've had no reaction to the product and don't find the scent unpleasant. It must dissipate quickly, because I only notice while I'm applying. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Nothing special
MLC512 (272 reviews)The only exceptional thing about this mascara is the price tag and I couldn't get past that. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

My Fave!
EireItalia (271 reviews)I love this mascara. It is the best I have ever used. Goes on easlily and does not clump, smudge or flake. Stays fresh looking throughout the day which is a bonus. Does not require endless coats for good results either. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Eh - Media Hyped
Starluxe (298 reviews)Being in so many fashion and women's lifestyle magazines, yes, I did have to go out and purchase this. I didn't see the WOW effect that the magazines have advertised so I felt this mascara was mediocre. It did the deed of giving some volume, a little bit of length, and made my lashes look lush but so does many other mascaras on the market for a more practical price. The brush is a tad too big for my liking especially because my lashes are considerably long so it's harder for me to reach places in certain areas to accentuate to make my eyes look more awake and have more of the curled lash effect without the tip overgunking the lashes. Benefit sells a similar mascara with the same jumbo brush; personally, it's really not that convenient for me. The finish is lovely but worth the price? I'll skip out, buy another brands for a few bucks less, more impressive than this. — 4 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 7 people said helpful

Expensive
runee89 (243 reviews)If you don't have the best of lashes, it might be worth it to splurge & buy this. I especially recommend it to Asian women who have thin/short/straight lashes since it does help with all those issues. A friend of mine swears by this. It does make lashes look very pretty. I personally wouldn't repurchase though for 3 reasons:1. It's not as black as I like 2. It flakes quite a bit 3. I have long, curly lashes that just need some volume & a drugstore brand does the trick for me. — 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
