Very light natural looking blush

I have fair skin and usually cannot wear blush, but I have noticed that I can wear almost any color in Paula's Choice blushes, and not look like a clown. Great product!06/09/2008

      • Pick up some of the blush on the full end of your blush brush (Paula's Choice offers an excellent Blush Brush). Knock off the excess, and brush it on with even strokes moving down along the cheekbone (not underneath the cheekbone—that is where contour is applied!). Apply in a downward direction (the same direction as you apply your powder) to help retain a smooth appearance, rather than a line or stripe over the cheekbone. A favorite trick of makeup artists (including Paula) is to use two shades of blush to create definition and add color. This is done by first applying a neutral blush (Flawless Nude, for example) under the cheekbones and blending softly up onto the temple area. A brighter "pop" of color is then applied to the apple (the fleshy part that is best seen when we smile) of the cheek and blended into the contour shade. This look is seen time and again on almost every fashion magazine cover and in countless "before and after" pictures. Since each shade of Barely There Sheer Matte Blush is so soft, you can easily alternate between or blend several shades to create a variety of looks or your own "custom" blush shade.
