A Miracle Mask for All Types of Skin

I have always loved faced masks, from when I made my own in grade school from crushed oatmeal with my sister. Paula’s Choice “Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask” is a complete joy—and a necessity for providing moisture to skin while calming redness and actually clearing clogged pores! I love Paula’s Choice because there are no potential...read morely skin-irritating fragrances, but I do appreciate a subtle fragrance, especially with a mask, and wish this contained one. The mask initially has an acrid smell which dissipates quickly. The cream is white and substantive; apply liberally over cleansed face and neck after cleansing. One of the best aspects of this is that it can be used for twenty minutes or left on the skin overnight for incredible results—we’ve done both! This formula is jam-packed with moisturizing ingredients, from macadamia nut, apricot kernel, and olive oils to glycerin, evening primrose oil, Vitamins C and E, and sodium hyaluronate. Do not fear that list—it is not in the least greasy. This mask is made to stop the effects/look of aging and also treats eczema, super-sensitive skin, redness, and rosacea. My husband experienced a slight amount of stinging, but I did not (his disappeared a few minutes following application). When we’ve used it for a short period or overnight and rinsed thoroughly, our skin is very much like the feel of down, as in down pillows and comforters. We both felt refreshed and renewed, with lots more moisture in our skin. My husband was delightfully surprised to find that a smattering of small pimples and blackheads has disappeared with this mask more than a few times after use. How great is that? A moisturizing product which combats adult acne? I didn’t have blemishes when I’ve used it, but I kept feeling my face and neck afterward for the ultra-soft texture.

Niccccce for dry winter skin

I have very sensitive combination skin. This mask is especially nice in the winter when my skin is dryer. I usually don't get facials at spas because the wreak havoc on my skin. When I use this mask, it feels like bliss--like a facial at the spa SHOULD make me feel. My skin feels hydrated, soft, and smooth--absolutely radiant (no acne or irritation). It is fragrance free and has a pleasant smell.

Great Product for under $15

Okay so she's changed the product package which is now in a red tube. I bought this discounted for under $12 on her site and it is wONDERFUL! I actually use it as a moisturizer barrier for day time where since it's winter and a good preventive care for dry skin. I leave it on at night if my skin needs a little moisture from a night out on the town recovery. The price is great and the product l...read moreocks and seals in moisture. I suggest using a very good serum. I use both Eminences eight greens even on my eyes and CE ferulic, then the super antioxidant from resist serum and then I seal it in with the mask. It's a very good Lock in Moisture product! As an alone product, you get a little out of it, but it's best used in combination with others as a seal.

works good

I don't have much experience with masks since I was a teen and used my stepmom's queen helen mint julep mask. I find this to be a good product as it does make my skin less dry the days I use it.

I found that even though this product is not expensive it works better than alot of ones that costs' alot more money. It makes you skin so smooth and the smell is great too.

I am totally in love with the Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask! This works wonders for my dry skin. After using this mask my skin feels so soft, fresh and hydrated and this mask is only around $16.00! Such an amazing price!
