Love the idea of this...

and I usually love Benefit. But the shades are just all wrong. None of them would blend into my complextion, which is fair with cool undertones. The light is WAY too light and the middle shade pinky and weird. Erase paste didn't blend well either. So disappointed as most concealers aren't moisturizing enough to really blend in on me and I had high hopes!04/19/2008

June 1, 2008, 2:52 pm Looking at erase paste, I was so very skeptical that it would blend with my skin tone. I'm a deep tan with yellow/orange undertones, but more yellow. The color I used was the deep, and it surprisingly works very well as a brightening concealer. I sometimes use the get even #2 powder with the erase paste. Just in case, I have the darkest cream foundation compact by Benefit (can't remember the product name, but there's a record on the outside of the compact) to use with the other products, in case my skin darkens this summer. So with benefit, I feel very prepared for when my skin color is lighter or darker! The only problem that I had is that if you sweat with the make-up on, it partially melts off your face, looking like you didn't blend it in very well. I did find the product to not so easily blend into the skin, but I used Oil of Olay's foaming moisturizer both before and after applying the erase paste, and it blended quite nicely. May 22, 2008, 6:41 pm I stopped by my local sephora during my lunchbreak at work to do some window shopping. I bought this item after enduring a very persistent benefit representative convincing me that this would be a life-changing product. I was very skeptical, especially since your choices of three colors did not even look like it would come close to matching my skin tone (i am asian, with a tan) but succumbed finally when she applied the paste under my eyes. I was pretty impressed, under the carefully orchestrated lighting in sephora, it appeared that my dark undereye circles have completely disappeared. it felt thick and warm under my eyes which i almost felt a bit soothing. So i purchased and ran out of the store giddy. But as i glanced at my rearview mirror on my drive back to work, I noticed that I suddenly was sporting a raccoon look with what looked like very noticeable O-rings around my eyes. Shrugged it off, went back to work, then noticed that it looked even worse under the fluorescent corporate lights. I felt a little bit embarrassed to have been walking around like this which led me to return this product, a little bit disheartened. So all in all, the product seemed ok, not quite as wonderful as it was hyped out to be. Maybe if it blended a little bit better without looking too pinkish white, i would have held on to this. May 7, 2008, 5:36 pm When I first looked at this concealer, I wasn't sure about its pinky tones... that is until i put it on. This product not only conceals but brightens your skin! And once you blend it in properly, the color doesnt give of any strange undertones at all. Instead, you get full coverage but with a glow that appears as natural as your fresh face, Since I began using this product, I have needed less touch ups throughout the day, and I have gone through my foundation supply far less quickly. A little bit of this concealer goes a long way, so this very small jar will last for a long time. May 7, 2008, 5:36 pm

Erase Paste is quite possibly the best concealer that I have ever used. Boi-ing being the second best. It works amazing under eyes because it really does help to brighten the area. I think that this product works well as long as you don't put too much on. I mostly use it on my undereye circles and a blemish here and there. The best part I think is that it doesn't dry you out. Blends very well. April 22, 2008, 9:25 pm

Well when i applied it it made my eyes look refreshed, illuminated, but this was only the first 10 minutes because after more time it creased A LOT and the worst of all: it looked soo shiny that i had to apply powder on top to make it look normal. so if you have oily skin like me seriously avoid this November 14, 2008, 7:06 pm

October 31, 2008, 5:19 pm this may be the best coverage i've ever gotten from an under eye concealer. a make up artist i know suggested i try #2 which i thought would be way too dark for my super fair complexion. i was really surprised when it covered my heavy under eye circles flawlessly. it took a couple tries to figure out how to really blend it into the skin (i've never used anything quite this thick and creamy before). i also found that dusting just a little laura geller matte maker oil blotting powder over it with a large fluffy eyeshadow brush set it perfectly and added a nice finish. i have actually been receiving compliments on how great my face looks since i started wearing it. my only complaint it that high oil content.. it really needs to be set with some kind of powder but not just any powder, my normal make up forever powder made it look clumpy. i'm curious to try this new powderflage product by benefit to see if that's an even better setting powder then my laura geller. I looked at the medium shade, but it looked too dark. (There are only three shades). It only worked okay. Also, it doesn't have any long-term effects, like reducing under-eye circles, lines/wrinkles etc. I think that the Physicians Formula line has way better, and more effective options for undereye circles, and blemishes. August 21, 2008, 9:08 am Im always searching for the BEST concealer to cover up my under-eye circles, especially after a long night! I was excited to run to Sephora to purchase Benefit's newest take on concealer. After using it a couple of times, I find that the best way to utilize this "paste" is not as a concealer but as a highlighter on top of concealer. Ill put my regular clinique concealer and just place a little of the erase paste directly on the dark circles for a nice highlighting effect. I wouldnt reccmend as a concealer, because i think its a little thick and it doesnt cover as well as other concealers. But as a highlighter under the eyes it works great! August 21, 2008, 9:08 am
