I have dark hair that's unruly and hard to manage. I thought this would help. It doesn't make your hair into a helmet head, but it leaves a residue in my dark hair. This does work
This works, but even on my fine hair I found I needed to use a lot of the product to get the look I wanted. Luckily it shampoos out easily, but sleeping on my crunchy hair (or the look of it the next morning)--OH MY!
