This primer doesn't have that silicone feel common to most. The texture is more moisturizer-like, and although it does make foundation go on smoother, it doesn't necessarily mask pores or hinder shine like other primers -- but it doesn't it claim to, either. That said, it does contain a mild retinoid and antioxidants to help firm and protect skin, so you will get something out of adding another step to your skin slathering routine.

      benifits of a primer without the downside of silicone

      This primer is great if you don't like the heavy feel of traditional silicone primers. It's light and gives my foundation staying power. It also keeps my face from seperating in the heat. I don't use it all the time but it's a must for special occasions. November 21, 2007, 11:01 am

      Although a bit expensive, I was able to try this product after my sister had tried it and wasnt pleased. I was happy with it. April 19, 2008, 11:45 am
